JAMB Admission Status Checking Portal For 2016 Has Been Enabled
This is to inform all 2016/2017 UTME candidates that they can now proceed to JAMB Portal to check their admission status.
Below are the guidelines to check your admission status;
-Visit the checking portal www.jamb.org.ng
-Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided.
-Click on your “Check admission status” to view your admission details.
Candidates are to note that 2016 JAMB admission letter printing has not yet commenced. From indications it may commence anytime soon.
Once it commences we will inform you and equally help you obtain yours. All you need to do is to place a request for it by clicking here once it becomes available.
You can also use this medium to share your admission details (that is the course and the institution you have been admitted to study).

THIS is the best news so far, you can now check the JAMB Admission Status for the 2016/2017 session online through the jamb official website.
Do take note that all candidates who sat for their various school post utme screening exercise for the 2016 academic session and would love to check their admission status can visit www.jamb.org.ng to check their admission status, this is both for UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
USING this platform, we would love to informed all 2016 JAMB UTME participants that the JAMB portal for checking admission status is now available for all JAMB UTME candidates.
Finally, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved and has successfully uploaded the full lists of candidates who have been admitted for the 2016/17 academic session.
This action, we should take note, is in accordance with a statement which was released last week regarding the admission status checking.
Full Detailed Step by Step Guides on How to check JAMB Admission Status 2016 Online
1. Please note that this portal/is both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates should go to the status-checking portal at www.jamb.org.ng
2. When the portal loads up, proceed and click on the ‘Check Admission Status’ link, which is provided under the 2016 UTME column of the website.
Please note that all admitted candidates are advised to purchase their admission letter printing scratch card from the nearest JAMB office and print out their admission letters.
Important Notice to all Candidates
We’ve also come across several complaints about candidates who have forgotten their their Registration Number, don’t panic, you can retrieve your Registration Number upon validation of PIN and Serial Number with either the following:
Surname, first name or middle name,
Date of Birth,
State of Origin.
Please note that this admission lists are also been uploaded regularly so, it’s important that all candidates should keep on checking their admission status on the JAMB website.
While for all the admitted candidate who have his/her admission details different from the one yet to be uploaded or already uploaded on the preferred institution’s website should immediately report such situation and error to the nearest admission office of his or her preferred institution for further instruction.
