The reason is its always daytime on the planet, due to its characteristic glow. Our days are recognised by the alternation of Night and not strictly in time span (We think in terms of longer days and Shorter days during the Solstices and Equinoxes.

It simply mean that the planet Venus make faster revolution along its axis than rotation within its orbit.
