Forty-eight hours after President Muhammadu Buhari submitted the list of his ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party has refused to comment on the list.

The party has maintained a sordid silence on the submission of the list.

Although the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, could not be reached, a reliable source in the party said the party was still studying the situation and waiting for the official list of the nominees before it can make informed comment.

The source added that though some notable Nigerians have been touted to be in the list, the party was been careful

President Buhari on Wednesday sent the first list containing the names of 21 ministerial nominees to the Senate leadership, thus ending months of suspense and debate over when he would constitute his cabinet.

The PDP had before the submission of the list berated Buhari for failing to name his cabinet months after assuming power.

The party had on different occasions given President Buhari ultimatums to set up his cabinet.

WHOEVER THAT IS ON THAT LIST IS GOING TO CRY LIKE A LEAKY DAM. THE PDP EVEN HAS A DOSSIER ON THE PRESIDENT's CURRENT SORDID AND BRAZEN FINANCIAL MISAPPROPRIATION. LET HIM KEEP ON STEALING, LIKE IF TOMORROW WILL NEVER COME. WHEN THE TIME COMES, HE WILL VOMIT EVERY SINGLE KOBO HE HAS STOLEN FROM THE NATION's TREASURY.

What is their concern with the list, are they in government?
