l will never 4get hw u use 2 organize grass root football competition in Benin in d 90`s. Some called u Mr. Ysfon back then.
clubs like tomline united, d professional, academicals, enweru ,spottiff, rockers, invisible leopard etc .my memory fail me on some of those clubs in Benin u were organizing competition for then, b4 u venture into journalism not minding d fact tht u stammer.

Knew him from his days at delta tv

I knew Felix Okugbe way back as a little boy in Benin when he was a sports presenter with bendel or later Edo broadcasting service with one Sylvester ogboname a very good analyst, when I came back to Lagos in the mid nineties i was happy when when Okugbe later joined AIT sports. Felix has paid his dues in sports journalism and is a pioneer of the kind of sports programs we enjoy in the media today.

I first met him thru a pastor in lagos, years Pat i met him in person at Lantoro hospital in abeokuta in the private ward. I went to pray for him there. I think for the same ailment. Very friendly and a honourable man. The world of football will miss u. RIP , Adieu!
