After taking a long while to publish the ministerial list, I want to believe those 3 women are those he deemed qualified and best suited. Appointments dictated by gender ratio and representation is akin to incompetence. |

And when the Jonathan gave female 35 per cent what happened? Did that translated to development? We all have seen and heard how these so-called women looted the country dry. In fact, is it not open secret now that no stealing of public fund ever took place in the history of this nation like that done by Diazeni alone, one of GEJ so-called shadow cabinet? From what we experienced under GEJ administration it would be too dangerous to entrust women with sensitive position. Just recall the role of Patience Jonathan. 3 Likes |

Are they not worthy of elective positions? Misogynist tendencies indeed. They should stop insulting women abeg. 1 Like |

MizMyColi:B!tch what will u gain by posting this rubbish? Jonathan led government was ruled by women, agreed! What did they do? They mismanaged our resources and syphoned our money into different personal account. Please u feminists should just stop this noise making and allow buhari to concentrate. If I may ask, is buhari responsible for the challenges the woman representing kaduna state is facing presently? The debate now should be about the competency and antecedents of the nominees, regardless of their gender. 2 Likes |

In the statement, the SCN called to mind that the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan gave women about 35% representation in his appointments, wondering why President Buhari has chosen not to tow the same path, as his 21-man ministerial nominees only had about 3 women. I stand with the SCN on this vexing issue. The fair representation of women is one of the measures which signposts how progressive a nation truly is. 2 Likes 1 Share |

yeah, well we are still trying to recover from the nightmare the women in the last government gave to us. GEJ surrounded himself with women, they were bent on driving Nigeria over the precipice. Mama Piss - taking over state functions like she was the one we voted for, and insulting our sensibilities with her uncouth manner. Okonjo Madam gele - selling us out to her masters in the western world, and pretending to be unaware of massive corruption during her watch as prime minister. Dieziani Alison Frog eyes - embezzling so much money, people are wondering if she wanted to bribe God with the money to allow her enter heaven. Stella Oduah pancake face - embezzler per excellence, forgetting that she was a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria and not of biafra. don't know if there ever was a minister so tribalistic. you can quote me negatively to your own detriment. 1 Like |

And by the way, it is infantile and mean-spirited to malign MizMyColi for posting this article. In my view, there is nothing more misogynistic than deriding arguments which focus on the exclusion of women from our public affairs. #ElevateTheDebate folks. 1 Like 1 Share |
