I know some serious government round the world make the welfare of her citizens as one of the importance in their governance, but I found it difficult agree because we have the resources and the money, only its just going to wrong hands everytime. Its has happened before when universities in Nigeria enjoyed 3 course meals while studying at university, then some of our resources like were not fully discovered.
To start with does our government knows the numbers of unemployed graduates in the country?
If yes, is there any help a graduate can get from government before securing a job?
Is there anything government can do to encourage graduates to create employment for themselves like soft loans? Because 26%-30% interest rate will never help business grow.

if its like that every graduate would receive money, because it would be hard to detect who is working and who is not.
to me the FG should increase NYSC allowance to 100k or sth substantial month, so that the moment the corpers leave they would have sth to fall back on, and if possible start a business.

That is not true.
Such policy will create more value for labour; reduce the exploitation of workers by employers and increase the bargaining power/cost/wages of workers.

Can you imagine a university graduate accepting a job of 10000 Naira because he is left with no choice?
How much can he save from such amount to start a new business?
And for a guy that stays alone, how can s/he pay rents and feed from it? Don't forget, feeding and rents is just about 58% of what people at that socio-economic level spend their income on.
Can the entire salary be enough for him to travel to another city for an interview?
You know one problem with ridiculously low-paying jobs is that you get trapped with no time or savings for exploring other opportunities.

If the graduate has some form of lifeline, he can take his time to build his dream gradually and make meaningful contribution to the nation's economy.

The reasons why Nigerian graduates don't make inventions and other scientific breakthroughs is attributable to the fact that most of us just look for ways to survive and pay bills. Most resort to low-paying teaching jobs in exploitative private schools.
