Doofus, it's not because Man Utd won last season's Champions League alone. . . . . .It is because more English clubs are reaching the advanced stages of the competition more than other leagues. Last season had 3 English clubs in the Semis, same as this season.
Even if Barcelona win the UCL this season, the EPL will accrue more points cos they have played 3 teams in the Semis and one team in the final.
