Well for one thing hallucinations of the spiritual variety are typically the placebo affect at work. The individual believes that spirits/ghosts/etc are possible (and this could be due to many reasons - watching too many horror movies, or growing up in an environment where superstition is rampant) - so ambiguous experiences are interpreted to be spirits/ghosts/etc automatically. What we believe is what we "see".

The cure to that sort of hallucination is cognitive therapy. For more severe forms, medication is an option.

not been able to explain NDE (Near Death Experiences).

Almost all the Recoded NDE's occurs in Hospitals. I don't

Operations Table, she died, or better put, left her body.

It's really great to see believers manifest the supernatural. Although I hardly dream or see spirit but I have a very special way of perceiving events,

Whenever something bad or good is about to happen to anyone around me, I will just know and pray against it if it's something bad.
Sometimes its still happened to them, other times it don't.

There are two possible explanations;
1. Sinners who have never had a relationship with Christ can still invoke His name and miracles,prophecies flows

2. There are Spirit baptized believers who will end up in hell

My opposition to 1 is because on Pentecost Peter preached that the promise of he Holy Spirit accompanied by the spiritual gifts is a gift of those who have repented 'as many as he Lord may call'. This means it is impossible for a non-believer to operate in the prophetic or miracles

option #2 is difficult because Calvinism the foundation of Protestanism teaches eternal security or OSAS (Once Saved Always Saved). The idea is man can't possibly by sin undo/unseal what God has done/sealed. I don't believe in this doctrine and I believe believers will end up in hell if they continue in sin after receiving Christ.

There are several passages warning apostasy and sin and I won't get to them for now.

The miracle workers and prophets here are dismissed as workers of iniquity. This tells me spiritual gifts don't disappear the moment you sin or even live in sin. This is what I have been saying all along. While it is fantastic and an honor to be used of the Holy Spirit to manifest His gifts, we should focus on the Giver and not the Gifts.

Unfortunately, genuine gifts are quite rare and fakes abound. This makes us Pentecostals to place an UNREASONABLE value on spiritual gifts. We literally worship them and act like their absence is punishment from God. We also esteem the Gifted as somewhat special breed of men and women. This ought not to be so.

How can Christ who have you the gift say He never knew you?
To me it means knowing Jesus is a dynamic as opposed to a historical relationship. Not only must we confess always as our Lord, we MUST live it out.

This is what Jesus was talking about in this verse;

John 15:6 English Standard Version (ESV)
6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

These branches in order to be cut off must have been in Christ in the first place. But they end up in fire.

@analice107. Believers in christ could relate to the properties and benefits of salt as described metaphorically by Jesus. As salt is used to season and flavor food, believers are expected to enhance and favourably influence people and society around them.
Salt is a preservative, just as believers in christ and the church should resist moral corruption and decay, preserving godly influence in the society and the world. Salt has healing properties, believers must help bring healing to people who are hurting physically, emotionally and spiritually. Christians should create spiritual thirst or desire in others to know more about God. Christians who are not seasoned with salt will become lukewarm, and will be trampled by men, which means they will end up giving in to the corrupt ways of the society.

Firstly we must understand that we can't cast out a devil with a devil. We can't also do great things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ without first being born again. This is to day, d category of ppl dat Jesus Christ was referring to were once born again and are endowed with spiritual gifts, power and authority. To properly understand this, we should consider the parable of d 10 Virgins. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Matthew 25:11-12 KJV. Dey called him Lord just d same way these ppl will call him lord and you can see the response is d same. Wateva thing we do in d Vineyard of the master should be born out of Grace. Dis is why we need the Holy Spirit and the word. We must avoid entering into error and doctrines of devils. Lets not b drawn by lust for knowledge nd therefore dent our grace by borrowing heathen practices. Many things in Christianity today expecially here in Africa originated from knowledge of heathen practice for example d way some ppl praise God is actually d same way their fathers praised their idol. Now when Jesus said we should be the salt of the earth in Matt 5 vs 13, it is synonymous with Matt 5vs 14 that says

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Light & Salt gives a positive note.. Light for Sight, Salt for taste..

Salt- Salt is used as flavor for food.

Jesus is saying the we as His disciples shouldn't lose our sense of belonging. We shouldn't forget that even though we are in this world, we are not of this world.. So like salt we should should stand out amongst this world.. Let the world know you are here, preaching His word, doing His works etc.

Light- Jesus is saying, the presence of Christians in the world must be like light in the darkness, bringing Truth and Life(Jesus) to a world where there are lies, sin and so much corruption. We should stand out, directing people to Him.

If salt no dey food, you go know abi? If light no dey for night you go know abi? ehen. Without salt= Tasteless food. No Light= Darkness.

What Jesus is saying is the same thing.

Jesus uses the 'Light and Salt' examples which means in one sentence 'Standing out for Him, Being seen, doing His will, Preaching His word to the world, giving flavor and sight to the world by doing all these'.

Giving the world flavor will change their taste from worldliness to Godliness.
Giving the world Light(Jesus) will cure their spiritual blindness and make them see Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.



The other one in Matt 5 vs 21-23 that says..

This is synonymous with what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13 vs1-3, that says..

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.



This is centered on Love.. Even the greatest prophet or child of God without God's love in his heart will not make heaven. God's kind of love is simply loving your neighbor as you love yourself and loving God sincerely from your heart. For Love is the greatest commandment and Love is the greatest gift of all, God is LOVE.
Love is patient, Love is kind, Love is humble, Love takes corrections, Love is slow to speak and fast to obey.. Love is childlike, just like children..

That's why God says if no one is like a little child, that person will not make heaven (Matt 18: 1 vs 4)
