What happened during foundation then ground flr, up to first flr, then second flr. They could have stopped the process in the early stages. Something is not right. Am sure the leadership of the church will not support breaching laid down laws.
I will be surprised if that church doesn't have approval, I mean b4 the start of construction work, they must have set up a Building committee..... Even if the church doesn't have a member who is an architect or engineer, town planner, they must have hired one.
If the Building doesn't have approval indeed, I'm sure the pastor in charge will be chastised....who does that in the 21st century.

I expect a building of that size and nature couldn't have been erected by illiterates. So it would have building plan, C of O and other documents which must have been approved before the project commenced.

Finally Hilltop isn't the only "residential Estate" within the state, you mean none of the others have mega-structures? Are you saying that estate doesn't have clubhouses etc? What makes those ones more suited to "Residential Estates"

He shd've have held whoever approved the building plan and gave the go-ahead for the project commencement to account, and maybe advised the owners on alternative paths of action. But that's assuming there's no private interest in the matter.

Things aren't ever black or white in this country and that has been our problem since.

True talk but was the government in sleep mode before, why wait till now before demolishing or could be that they want to use the debris for a special purpose being that of a church? I am just wondering.

U are just being unreasonably sentimental about this. worship centres have no business within residential estates with their unending programs which are mostly noisy. Remember, the estate is for xtians, muslims and even atheists. So, why should a group disturb the others with their own activity?

What they did is a welcome development!
People will start doing things in the right manner, as no body is above God's instruction "we should obey our leader when they enjoy us to do the RIGHT THING" kudos to those that summon the courage, as no body is ABOVE THE LAW!

It's really unfair to have churches in residential areas, you will be trying to sleep after a long day at work but the church next door feels the need to blast their songs and sermons on the LOUD loudspeaker.
