Now the kurds in Syria can fight isis without fear of being bombed by Turkey. Any turkish jet in syria will be brought down by Russia and NATO will be forced not to act based on what Turkey did yesterday.

Also a ground force is now unlikely because Erdogan will not think through his actions.

Turkish audio account or warning and the said time Russian jet stayed in Turkish airsapce is contradictory. Warning was given over 5 minutes but the jet only stayed a maximum of 17 seconds in turkish airspace. So was Turkey warning Russian jet to leave Syrian airspace?

Turkmen rebels in Syria have been bombarded heavily since yesterday night and Russia is bent on destroying them - Turkey will watch painfully as it's assests are being destroyed.

Turskish resolution meant to be submitted to the UN over Turkmen rebel is now effectively dead.

1. China colonized Vietnam for 1000 years and Tibet is still seeking independence from China.

2. Russia is Russia today and not the Soviet Union because countries like Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania gained their independence from the Soviet Union which eventually broke up to formulate Russia today.
