If this is about (whatever the bridge that connects the SE is called) Fashola won't make an empty bridge that is used only once a year a priority while the ones that are important to the economy of the whole country wait. SE won't need the niger bridge anyway since it will be blown to cut them off from Nigeria when the time comes.

They can always summon d minister of state petroleum, who is also d GMD NNPC. Isnt dt the person more likely to explain EVERYTHING abt whats going on? Both with NNPC imports and wt d marketers. They could also ask him abt d DPR declaration he made. Its only bn enforced in kwara state so far.

This fuel situation is serious. And it will get worse if d govt doesnt remove d subsidy. They cant afford it anymore. I wld advise everyone to start getting ready to pay N200/ltr like its done in other countries. Yes, even oil prodicing countries.

Our main problem are those DEAD REFINERIES. If they were working we wont need to be doing this trade by barter of selling crude (which is getting cheaper by d day) and importing products (which are still expensive). We would refine our own crude and satisfy our LARGE MARKET & export petrol to neighbouring countries.
If those refineries had remained privatized when obasanjo did it, they wld have bn producing profitably today (like eleme petrochemicals dt went from complete death to life in 4yrs after privatizatn).

But yaradua wt his small brain reversed those privaizations. Our only hope now is for dangote to finish building his refinery OR we all WAKE UP from this oil intoxication & start exporting other things we can use to pay for our petroleum imports, like all non-oil producing countries do.
