Kachikwu, did you really keep a straight face when spewing those BS?

The only good thing about this Buhari bad government is that both the wailers and masturbators are feeling the heat.

I bet PDP wants to give this govt time to perform b4 descending on them. Cuz if it were under PDP we are going through this economic hardship, Lai Mohmed wud av rented d air with screems of hw people r dying, accidents on d road, fires in filling stations. All manner of bad bad things happening bcuz of this fuel scarcity.

But hw insensitive can government be. All thses are happening and presido is galivanting from con3 to con3 with no impact.

I soo much like wat Jona did cuz nomater what he wud av done, they will never be good for APC. They hv already condemned him. For any bad news that happens, apc n their change agents wud av so vilify him , infact they wud av invented a more deamining name than d clueless they called him. Thank God he has passed d baton to d "Change agent" . Do ur work jare n stop passing d blame.

DPR should have sealed the station after distributing the prices free of charge to all available Nigerians. DPR is part of the problem.

So true. I don't think reality has dawned on this government that they have won so no need for campaigns and propaganda but action. They have no definite plan to tackle ANY issue yet.

But the same Nigerians made fuel available during Jonathan's presidency.
So the problem must be the fossil you work for.

Did you bother reading the article? I guess no. If you did, it will be difficult to blame the minister as what he said is fact.

Take for example the fuel station which DPR caught hoarding fuel in Kwara, is it owned by Buhari? Be honest for once, it won't hurt.

The problem here is not the minister, it is your inability to read and understand or maybe you can't be asked to read at all.

Kachikwu is absolutely wrong on these statements a d APC needs be reminded that propaganda at this time is not acceptable

1. The APC party have consistently blamed the previous govt on similar events. Since when did it change that helpless Nigerians are tjo be held responsible? This is clearly lack of responsibility from the APC led govt.

2. Never in the past did APC acknowledge the action of Capital Oil as a noble feat but Kachikwu is quick to term him a hero now in an attempt to pass the buck to the marketers and Nigerians. This is clear hypocrisy

3. Except the few months leading to the exit of past Govt, GEJ's govt witnessed absence of fuel scarcity for a good part of his five years (festive periods inclusive). How come GEJ/ Deziani didn't go about blaming marketers and Nigerians? Wouldn't it be wise that the new govt take a clue from the previous?

Its laziness on the part of Kachikwu not to sustain the continous supply of refined products like his predecessor did. NNPC under Diezani was ahead of the marketers in the game. There was always sufficient stocks to checkmate the excesses of the marketers when they attempt to hoard.

4. But most importantly, if statements like these should be coming from a man who Nigerians were looking up to end this scarcity menace permanently. ....... it clearly shows that this government has no blueprint or plan

What. Point? If DPR(FG agency) has been doing their jobs effectively , those hoarding petrol will and can never do it.

So, the blame is on FG/DPR for neglecting their duties. And not on common Nigerians for thinking about tomorrow in such an inconsistent/unpredictable economy.

Kachikwu does not want to take responsibility. And that is very bad. If u can't take responsibilities, how then can u move on effectively?

Thanks for the above links, reminding us of the aggressive and potent power of the press that brought down the PDP when their time was up. Luckily for the governing APC, the control of majority of these media houses by their controlling partners has reduced the publicity of the current grave situation. Some of those articles quoted were speculative and at no time of those period was the gravity of the situation as bad as now.
However, we hope and pray that this will not be the norm of the next few years, if the honorable minister of state can be this insensitive in blaming the expectant Nigerians for the situation.

You are one of the very few people whose comment make sense...

Dangote brought down the price of cement to N1000 with the hope that it would help reduce rent, more affordable to build house, etc. The selfish eediots are still selling for N1700 just to capitalise on profit, we are the major problem of ourselves because we don't love each other...

Ewoooo! From oga jona to innocent nigerians?

The Nigerians he is speaking about are NOT innocent. The minister is not talking about those queueing for fuel but those Nigerians that are hoarding the fuel to CREATE queues and therefore willingness to pay more.

The more scarce you make something the more people will pay for it.
