Seems like NOI left and pulled the carpet on which our economy was built. Everything suddenly crumbled .

Fuel prices increased

Price of dollar at the parallel market now 253 against 196 when she left

Unemployment grew by more than 5% after she left.

Inflation Grew by more than 3% after she left.

Stocks crashed

Investors pulled out and abandoned our bonds and tbills.

Fixed deposit interest rates now bellow 4% from 10-12%

Bond yields less than 8% from 15%.

Jp Morgan delist Nigeria.

Investors loose confidence.

Even after a New finance minister has been appointed for this administration, investors still are not confident . Both local and foriegn investors still don't want to invest a dime in this economy.

Local investors still prefer to buy bonds and bills at 1% than invest in other areas.

People still prefer to take 2% fixed deposit interest than invest in any other area.

We now have a new finance minister, yet there is no clear policy on where Nigeria is heading economically.
APC got to power through propaganda. We have forgiven them and hope the succeed.

But despite all the challenges facing our economy since NOI left, it still seems she is still in charge.

The way she appears on the news daily, I almost forgot we now have have a finance minister.

Is APC attacking NOI as a defence mechanism to hide Kemi's Incompetence and Inability to handle the nation's economic responsibility placed on her?

Lol, theft or sharing? Since when did a finance minister stop state governors from sharing excess crude funds?

Exposed what? When a bank gives a loan, do they tell the person who took the loan how to spend it?

When did the finance minister start to oversee the affairs of NSA?

Mekaboy pls stop save your energy for better things. These zombies will neva learn. NOI was d best finance minister in the history of Nigeria. Nigerian like to pull down one of their own. If she released money to the NSA will she also go and monitor how the money was spent. Will she also do it in all the different ministry and parastatals.

Let the zombies and that ugly imp from edo continue to beef her and watch her get good jobs abroad. Anyday efcc calls her she will answer and put them to shame. If they have good evidence they shud summon her to court.

What revelation? That Nigerian politicians have been caught looting? What's news there? This looting has been on since the military era till now.

It just that PMB chose to focus on this one. If you go back to obasanjo regim I am sure there are other cases.

But the finance minister did as required of her. The process of releasing the funds is not illegal.

#smh.

okay let me educate you.

1. releasing unappropriated funds is illegal.

2. were the funds released for what they were meant for anyway?

3. she was the coordinating minister of the economy. do you honestly believe that she didnt know that the funds were going into private pockets?

4. if she didnt know then she wasn't worthy of the position given to her and she was highly incompetent.

5. if she knew and was powerless to stop it she should have resigned.

why do you keep defending thieves? are you paid to come and troll online? arent you tired of a non-functioning society?

we complain that Nigeria is bad, corruption is too much, now we have someone who is making efforts at cleaning it up you are grumbling and wailing. na wa o.

Is this where your education ends? You need to go back to school.

How do u know a thief? So u call someone a thief based on what u read in the news without trial or conviction by the court?

For your information, even dasuki is innocent until proven guilty.

What do u mean by inappropriate funds? Are you unaware that there was a meeting chaired by the president and the said funds was agreed upon?

Was the funds realised for the right purpose? The documents stated that the funds were given to defense as a loan to purchase arms to fight bokoharam. That is where the responsibility of the finance minster ends, as long as security is involved.

If the bank gives you a loan, do they monitor you to know if ur giving the money to your girlfriend ?

Have u ever heard in any administration that the finance minister went to question NSA on how they used the funds given to them?

Funds going to private pockets is not the responsibility of the finance minister. Her responsibility is to source funds and make it available, which she did.

Since nobody has linked the shared funds to her in anyway, then she is innocent.

You don't just wake up and insult people who you probably might never get to the level they are in your life based on sentiments.

Where are your facts?

Can you prove Okonjo iweala was part of the loot?

Present your case and tell me the bases on which she is called a thief.

Did she steal your money?

The government will be judged by its policies that reduces poverty (national rate) and unemployment in general.

Nigeria is built on utilisation of annual income and our constitution is against savings hence the excuse of using what happened in the the past government to cover its failure is unacceptable. Giving this government time to perform is fair to me but it shouldn't exceed our elastic limit.

They say Ngozi Iweala was lying and deceiving Nigerians, yet the dollar between 175 to 200, there were more jobs, Investors were confident, businesses were booming, no lines at petrol station in festive periods.

Today APC is telling us the truth and the dollar is 280, no fuel, job loss, investors flee, businesses collapse even banks have blocked Naira atm use abroad.

Now, which do you prefer? truth or lies?

Mekaboy just leave all this zombies...they are just jealous of her. Honestly if under GEJ's there was looting, then I prefer it....at least money was flowing...market was not dry like this...salaries were been paid on time. But in this so called anti corruption era, i wonder why the zombies won't talk about the millions buhari wants to use to run cables to his driver's house. I also want to know what is there to maintain in aso rock that will cost billions. I wonder whether the zombies don't know that in a time when there is no money, expenses are supposed to be less but instead they even want to borrow for nonsense. I think a spell was cast on all this zombies....tufiakwa

It seems like whenever the heat is too much on the APC govt they either bring up a topic of Gej or okonjo iweala to distract Nigerians.

I have been following the confused APC govt for a while and expected a new post of okonjo iweala to appear online as the usual distraction.

The level of confusion is getting to the peak and they need some distraction .

From the confusion of budget padding to the confusion of rail project.

Now it is china confusion. They say they have borrowed, Next they say they have not borrowed. They say they have signed a deal next they say they have not.

So I new I would read something about okonjo iweala soon and I logged in and found something on front page.

APC feels they can provoke her to open up and tell them how she managed to grow the economy, manage inflation and maintain foriegn investments which APC has destroyed in less than 1 year.

They should humbled themselves and plead with her to serve as a consultant and be paid.

It seems buhari is doing the job of the finance minister. He negotiates the deals, drags the finance minister there, puts a hijab on her and she signs whatever contract he negotiated.
