High blood pressure has little or nothing to do with driving..these people are bereft of ideas..let me give them..

1. Alcohol breath test
2. Visual acuity test
3. Mental state examination

Imagine FRSC took a quack to go and measure blood pressure for official use. Just check the position of the sphygmomanometer, with that position you will certainly get wrong result. Nawa for FRSC

How does blood pressure affect good driving? Like WTF! Most aged people suffer high BP and yet still drive (50yrs and above). Test should be for
- Vision
- Mental state

Not only the blood pressure, but the eyes especially.

Still, it is a good idea to check the BP. Hypertension is fast becoming a major problem in Nigeria....and we may have to make it a serious public health care issue....they way we do for malaria and AIDS.
