Jonathan named International Person of the
year

The African Sun Times, Africa’s number one and
largest newspaper in America, has announced
Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, former President of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria as its International
Persons of the Year.
The categories the newspaper has chosen this
year include International Person of the Year,
African Statesman of the Year, Corporate Social
Responsibility Company of the Year, Pan-African
Person of the Year, Diaspora Person of the Year,
Most Influential Person of the Year Under 40,
and the African Tourism Ambassador of the
Year.
“Dr. Jonathan, who shocked the whole world by
swiftly calling current Nigerian President
Muhammadu Buhari and conceding his defeat in
the March 29 Nigerian presidential election,
thereby stopping the predictions of violent
bloodshed in Nigeria, and keeping his words that
he would not allow the blood of a Nigerian to be
shed to further his political ambitions. President
Jonathan must be applauded for creating a solid
foundation for the growth of democracy in
Africa. The world has started to recognize
President Jonathan’s courageous act,” the
newspaper wrote.

Jonathan has shown dt he's a good man but its not enough as he had self centred souls around him while he tried to bring past presidents and elder statesmans on board, he was left exposed maybe due to d term MINORITY REGION. Many of his associates then are now being n celebrated mostly in APC. While people like obasanjo dts supposed to be questioned on bayelsa massacre, people like babangida for direct mismanagement to his name during his regime, people like TY Danjuma, (thank God Dasuki is now being question), people like Abdul salam abubakar for d way he milked ds nation after abachas death before handing over, people like yakubu Gowon for d massacre of over 2million people mostly igbos during d civil war are all free and been celebrated, I think it's unfair asking for Jonathan's arrest while all d above mentioned ought to be in the Hague facing war crimes.
Nigerian youths may never have outright say until we hold our leaders accountable and adopt staunch periodic check and balance on d leaders because generations will ask what was our contributions during our time.
