The old Northern politicians that made the comments you keep recycling are long dead and buried and even their followers or communities do not remember or even subscribe to a lot of those comments today, despite the fact that they still revere the memories of their patriarchs. A lot of your fellow Igbo politicians have made statements that are contemptuous and highly derogatory of other tribes from 1960 till date. As for what Oba Akiolu said prior to the 2015 elections, why do you keep parading a half-baked one-sided story of the whole affair instead of reporting it in full? Over 20 of your Eze NdiIgbo and their representatives resident in Lagos were present there when the traditional ruler made that infamous statement. Did they protest, stage a walk-out or condemn his statement? They laughed, clapped and quickly promised to take his message to their communities and ensure that the Oba's bidding was done to the letter.
Thank God my community is not located either within the Southwest or the South east. My people would have ostracised those Ezes and dealt with their families, before they returned home with such an inglorious message. Instead, you are here covering up the maladies of your Ezes in Lagos, as well as their communities and painting other tribes black based on your list of ancient and imaginary sins.
