As usual, government is using emotional and media strategies to win the hearts of the weak, the delusional, the poor, and the zombies.

It is not enough to shout N13Bn scam. Show us the condition of the land/property. How many buildings were bought alongside the land. Is the land an agricultural land or residential?

If Fashola could build a borehole for N60m and he was crowned a Minister, I see no reason why Tompolo cannot sell his land for N13Bn.

Even a common dry land in a bush in Ogun sometimes sell for N10m/plot.

We are tired of reading billions. N13Bn is just a CHANGE when compared with what Tinubu currently enjoys from Ikeja City Mall (Shoprite) in Ikeja.

How much did Tinubu gained after he sold Lagos property to Shoprite?

Emotional stunts cannot save BUHARI AND TINUBU.

he is in the creeks in bayelsa, stop salivating on newspaper pages and go to the creeks to arrest him if you dare! or you think we are brainwashed zombies like you sophisticated fools for whom accusations, prosecution, judgement and sentencing is done on the pages of newspapers? reality is your Buhari's government has failed or is it technically succeeded in one theatre of war(north east) but are foolishly trying to create another theater of war in the south south to stretch our already overstretched military or maybe its deliberate, maybe war in the south south suits their anarchist and destructive agenda for the south south because war is what it will come to if buhari toes this line because tompolo may have or may not have committed a crime but Buhari is high on fermented dope if he thinks he's going to muscle tompolo into line and/or the people of bayelsa are going to yield him to them. we have no love for the association of present criminals angry

I've read all your arguments. But there is no amount of explanation that can justify your words. No amount of land in all of Delta State except the land has oil deposits is worth that just to build a university. Unless you're talking about buying a whole town. But it is just for a university. Even if it is 500 plots so long as it is situated in an obscure town in delta state and has no oil deposits, my brother it is not even worth 500 million. Please stop arguing like that. 13 billion is not 13 million.

I argue because am a business man. I argue in the eyes of business am not sentimental as most salary earners are.

Now if Tomopolo has commence building university on the said land and has projected to make 5billion naira on the land in 10 years and he say to the government I don't want to sell and the government say sell to us at a mouth watery price of 20 billion though he bought at 50,000. Is it his fault or that of the government?

You may say the government is his brother and so what. Do you know how previous government bought land they developed for something. The case of abuja is still fresh in our brain.

Business is business, government should hold the buying government not the seller.

If it is you will you reject the offer to sell your house if government come for it at a mouth watery price?

Envy is the problem of this nation.

It is common sense to start with the loot whose fund you can get easily because it is fresh. I ask a question. If you have Mr A who duped you of some money in 1999 and Mr B did same very recently. If you see both of them and you desire to get your money back, which one of them will be priority
Depends on how much is involved and not how long dear. Buhari cannot and will not probe Obj even if harlliburton case is very recent and the American government has offered to help with information needed.

Bad as these corrupt cases that are been exposed are, I have my reservations. 1999 shouldn't have been a bad date to start probing from. Cos it all now looks like this is targeted at the last administration. If we know what OBJ and Year Adua did, GEJ may well be considered a saint. GEJ is being vilified daily, and those involved in Harlliburton are free to comment about others. Those who sponsored Buharis election, have attained sainthood.

What's this one saying?
Re: N13 Billion Fraud: Court Orders Immediate Arrest Of Niger Delta Militant Tompolo by texazzpete(m): 10:27am On Jan 13, 2016
Those talking about price of land in Banana island are just being mischievous. There's no way in hell that the land bought from a village in Delta state can be legitimately bought for that amount.

Such a tragedy that this type of scam was allowed to flourish in the last administration.

Buhari doesn't want to spend his tenure fighting militants, IPOB and boko haram and corruption all at once, trust me!!!

[quote author=mrBN post=41920498]Federal High Court in Abuja has issued for the arrest of Mr. Government ‘Tompolo” Ekpemupolo in connection to a multi-billion naira fraud involving land contracts for the construction of a Nigerian Maritime University (NMU).

It will be recalled that on December 10th, 2015 that Tompolo was wanted for questioning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and had refused to honor their invitation claiming he was in court against the anti-corruption agency.

Tompolo, a former Niger Delta militant, had bank accounts belonging to him frozen by the EFCC. According to reports at the time, two companies linked to Tompolo, Mieka Divers Ltd and Global West Vessel Specialists Nigeria Ltd, had their accounts frozen by the EFCC because of their use in fraudulent exchanges.

Specifically, the EFCC wishes to question Tompolo about the illicit sale of N13 billion in land from him to the Federal Government. According to reports, the Federal Government wanted to construct the Nigerian Maritime University (NMU) and had diverted public funds through the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) to the militant.

Mr. Tompolo is reportedly hiding in the Niger Delta creeks; he rejects any insinuation that the land deal was fraudulent asking EFCC to contact former President Goodluck Jonathan for clarification.

The real reason this All Progressive Congress (APC)-led Government is after me is that I bluntly refused to join APC and to support their Governorship candidate in Bayelsa State. We cannot all be in APC. Our people have always believed in the Nigerian project and had always hoped to join hands with this administration to move this project forward, but the conditions being attached are not acceptable. I insist on believing in the Nigerian project unconditionally!

Court order just few days after APC lost d election, its dis a coincedence?
