One significant thing about constructing this bridge is that before now the people of Okon-Aku were cut-off from the rest of Abia State, the mammoths crowd that came out today depicts their satisfaction, happiness and support for their Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, for re-connecting them with the rest of the world through the construction of this bridge within such short time in office.

I overheard one man saying "I am very sick and have not been coming out for sometime now but I couldn't help it today, I forced myself out of my sick bed just to come and see the man that has done this for us, I thank our Governor so much for constructing this bridge for us".

Our local contractors are even taking the few Lebanese out of business in the east. those places u are metioning are not superhuman, there is nothing they can do we can not do
