With rapid increase marriage scandals in contemporary times, a once sacred vow, which binds spouse as a unit, has uninterruptedly swayed in meaning to what is more or less, a lust that leads one into doom of anticipated-leisure. Having noticed its outrage effect on societal decorum, here are reasons evident enough to make one walk out the door and bid farewell.

Money
A relationship motivated by money is bound to crumble. Most people who venture into marriages because of financial possession of their partner become uneasy with the relationship when their spouse's income falls as time progresses. Because the supposed love was not for the partner but for luxury, so the life spam of the union becomes dependent on money.
This money factor is very critical and has ruined many marriages in the world at large, so real love should be the priority and not otherwise.

Communication
Many people in the world today are victims of saying the right things in a wrong manner. When you always get your spouse pissed by using sarcastic and scornful languages on them, creating an impression different from what you intended, you are subjecting the marriage to disaster. A partner should perceive some certain degree of respect in your style when communicating with them.
If you persist in such act, your relationship awaits doom in a short while, because the one who feels the pain would one-day revolt.

Planning for wedding rather than marriage
Many people are carried away with captivating moments of wedding, which have blinded them from mapping out feasible plan that will sustain them through marriage. They invest so much time preparing for wedding, which is just a phase of the marriage process, but ignore the aspect of it that comes after. After the wedding, every other thing becomes awkward to them, because their minds are tailored towards wedding but not marriage. This has led to the crush of many marriages in recent times.

Taking advice from the wrong people
If the fate of your marriage lies on advice you get from mostly the wrong people then I am sorry for you. Not everybody you call a friend is deem fit to render a good advice. Sometimes the person giving the advice might not be happy about your marriage progress and can go extra mile to jeopardize it. So take things into cognizance and scrutinize before reacting because of a given advice, or be ready to face the trauma of break-up.

Sex
In relationship, sex is secondary but paramount in determining the fate of couple. If issues like one partner failing to meet the sexual demand of the other arises, the other may meander a way out to get satisfaction outside; there by breaking the vow which binds them as husband and wife. This is rampart these days as we have recorded and witnessed many cases of sugar boy, sugar, sugar mummy and daddy.

Holding to past relationships
This is more like playing with a double-head sword. Before going into a new relationship, deal with the memories of the old, at least not to complicate matters in the present one. Some spouse are fund of comparing their old relationship with the new, making their spouse feel jealous and incompetent. They always cite examples like: I miss my xboy friend; he is more caring and romantic than you.

But the question is, if the x was that caring as they professed, then why did they part ways? When such statement of complementing past relationships trickles out regularly from the mouth of a partner, then know the persons heart dwells in a world governed by x-lover; and may lead the person into affair with the x-lover
This is a visible sign that tells you they are still in love with the former. Thus, such companion would likely disintegrate when the other partner gets fed-up with the sermon.

Emotional immaturity
This is when a spouse mistakes childishness, nagging and procrastinating for being caring. On the ground of being emotionally immature, they resort to shed tears on irrelevant issues, lack the ability to deal with it and see nothing wrong with their flaws.
Irritating as this may be, some procure diabolic means to secure the love of a partner, which most time yields huge consequences that tear them both apart after he must have been freed from the charm. A partner with such an acrimonious attitude should be completely avoided

Trust
Trust is a key factor if you want your relationship to flourish. A person you can trust is a person you can love, therefore when a partner is cunning and deceptive; it declines the survival chances of the relationship. Everybody wants to pair with somebody they can trust and share feelings with; not a reverse type.
I advised that you ascertain the trustworthiness of a person before going into any relationship with he or she, or walking away after few weeks becomes your next option.

Lack of respect
I wonder what the definition of love would be without respect as one of its features. So when you say you love someone and respect not the person, it’s an abuse of the term "love."
If you really cherish your relationship and want it to survive, respect in a reciprocal manner between you and your partner, offers you the chance. However, if it lacks, every day conflict instigated by disrespecting each other’s position would be the order of the day and may consequently drive the relationship into the line of divorce. This is because; one always derives dignified satisfaction when being respected by a partner.

Wrong foundation
A building with a wrong foundation would likely collapse in a short time; so it is with relation. If your motive of going into matrimony is something other than true love, then your relationship has a crack, which proves it’s on a wrong foundation, and would fall just as the wall of Jericho.
