When you think you have heard the worst, they will just dig out another one.

With all these revelations and expositions, I have not seen what Jonathan did that was void of wastefulness and misappropriation.

Thank God for change of power. I believe PDP people are learning now, if for whatever reason they come back to power, they should learn how to do things well without sharing the money.

I pity people like you who are stuck in one way view.
Have you seen the CCTV bought by Fashola?

Lagos Deploys Additional 1,000 CCTV Cameras
21 Jan 2014

The Lagos State Government Monday disclosed that it would soon begin the installation of additional 1,000 Close Circuit Television (CCTV), which it said, would help beef up security and crime monitoring in the state.

With the latest development, the number of security cameras, which are in operation across the state would be 2,200, out of which the federal government earlier deployed 1,000 and the state government 1,200.

However, Governor Babatunde Fashola (SAN), disclosed the plans to install additional 1,000 CCTV at the public security system demonstration at the Lagos State Security Command and Control Centre, Alausa.

donglazy:

The Lagos State Government yesterday said it had concluded plans to install 10,000 Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras statewide as part of measures to ensure that the state is secure against the activities of terrorists in the light of the insurgency rocking the country

Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Akinyemi Ashade, said this while giving a breakdown of the 2016 budget, tagged ’The Peoples’ Budget’, saying the government will also activate the existing 1,000 CCTV cameras already installed in the state.

According to him, “We will be expanding our ICT infrastructure statewide. Consequently, a budget of N9.6 billion has been approved for this purpose in 2016. This will include a Smart City project targeted at deploying technology to enhance security in the state. It will also aid our revenue generating efforts.

The country is falling down and we never hear what they are doing to stop it. They should investigate, arrest and jail who is guilty. The whole country lawmakers, ministers and leaders are on stand still. When will we hear about what they achieved in 1 year?

some peeps are already having reservations about PMB, they say money is not flowing in fact my pal has been heaping insult on Buhari for blocking some of those leakages. Sheer greed and wickedness has to be tackled if this nation has to make any meaningful progress.

It's the effect of poverty and low self esteem. The belief that God brought them into the world to suffer amidst plenty. And to be perpetual slaves to their slavers. They are the ones that actually hold the power because they are the majority. It's funny how they never realize that. The poor have brought down the most powerful governments and monarchies all over the world and changed their lives. But suffer head is in the ones in Nigeria's genes

We made enough money and waisted all on nothing.
All projects embarked upon from 2003 to date are either shoddily executed or are still under construction without having any time to finish line.
Money waisted and nothing much on ground to show.

The Chinese company wouldn't have done it without the expert knowledge of corrupt Nigerians.
If an ivestigation is carried out, we won't be suprised if known 'yam-eaters' are part of the scam.

But PREMIUM TIMES has learnt that some of the materials deployed for the critical national security infrastructure are of low quality compared to what those used in China. Yet Nigerian authorities are not known to have lifted a finger in protest.

This newspaper also learnt that the contract was signed and executed in secrecy based on the Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, signed between the Nigerian government and the Chinese firm.

Article 4 of MoU specifically indicated that the terms agreed upon by the parties be kept secret.

“The terms of this MoU are agreed by both parties to be confidential. All confidential information shall not be disclosed to third parties or used for any other purpose or the possibility of a business relationship between the parties unless agreed by both parties,” the document read.

The secrecy clause in the MoU, PREMIUM TIMES gathered, was created to allow top officials of the Police Affairs Ministry and the presidency to negotiate away some of the critical elements of the project.
The source at the Presidency further confided in PREMIUM TIMES that the secrecy clause violated every rule of transparency and accountability and should not have been allowed in the MoU

.

They knowingly screw us up. The CCTV functionality and benefits to Nigeria was the least of their worries or concern, the money and corruption involved was what they were really after.

These shady characters and unpatriotic Nigerians even made sure to insert secrete previsions into the contract to co cover up their corrupt acts and the damaging contract they signed on behalf of Nigeria...

In the same China, they kill corrupt people like the ones involved in Nigeria.
