APC Should Sell Nigeria . by mekaboy(m): 7:56am On Feb 01, 2016 |
I think APC govt should sell Nigeria and let every citizen get their share. I said in a previous thread that buhari never prepared for governance but people would blindly argue. Buhari came into power riding on the wings of propaganda. He might have good intentions but he is not a good administrator like obasanjo said. I strongly believe buhari left the budget in the hands of the APC chieftains who invested in his election to recover their funds . This govt says one thing and does the opposite. When it is time to take from they masses, they say that's how it is done in developed countries. But when it is time to give back to the people, they say we are a developing nation. Giving the 5k they promised to the unemployed is difficult because they don't have records and can't verify who is unemployed. But when it is time to collect N50 from the masses, it becomes easy overnight. They say they want to revive the country, diversify the economy and stop depending on oil. Yet they budget mote for information than agriculture. A government that spends 80% of earnings on itself and 20% on infrastructure. Before they got into power, all they told us was what they would give, now all we see is what they will take. Electricity increase kerosene increase fuel increase deduction of N50 from accounts and more to follow. What have they given us since? Now the government is going to borrow on behalf of Nigeria to buy cars, feed and cloth themselves while the poor masses suffer for whatever is the condition attached to this loan. A serious business man that is sure of investment and returns will take a loan because he knows he will make profit. I Keep asking why does buhari have to go abroad to borrow? The reason is because, there are not plans to pay. The money will be used to feed the overfed govt so no need. If buhari borrows from Nigerians by making the bonds and Tbills attractive, it means the govt will have to pay back the money to the citizens. But since the money is for their feeding, they know it will go down the toilet and there won't be money to pay back. So it's better they borrow outside on behalf of Nigerians and share. That way, Nigeria will be held ransom and not them. But since govt is bent of borrowing to feed itself, they might as well sell this country and let every citizen take their share. 1 Like |

Even if the FG cash in on Nigeria today, i'm afraid the masses won't get shishi. Like Tinubu, he has sold the yoruba nation to enrich himself. 1 Like |

kenyex:A talk of necessity. Jonathan's govt was corrupt because they were feeding fat when the oil was up to $100 a barrel. What will you then call a govt that wants to feed more at $30 a barrel? |
