It depends on the route he's plying. If he rides through very busy roads, it's dangerous for him and his passengers |

It is risky since he is not the only one plying that route. |

I think they should Ideally have a sign on their vehicle that states that they cant be alerted by sound. Without this, he is a hazard. He cant hear horns or sirens which is definitely a big problem. |

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080408201605AAsNxRx It turns out that deaf people are actually better (safer) drivers than normal people because they apply all their other senses which happen to be considerably sharper than the average normal person. Wonders shall never end! 4 Likes |

GurlFriend: Only in Nigeria will you not know there are deaf drivers all over the world. There are driving test available for the deaf in other parts of the world and a deaf person can actually apply for a drivers license. 1 Like |

But he has to survive, better off than a robbery gang. Beside Nigerian government does not care about the physically challenged/displaced person in this country. Too bad! 1 Like |

#Inspiring!! There is always Equilibrium in Nature. A deaf man has extra senses to compliment his deafness. It's just like the La chateliar's Principle in Chemistry- Equilibrium will annul the change in hearing. He's also got side mirror's which sight will focus more on, since hearing is impaired. People with hearing, sights.. most often even default with side mirrors. Shouldn't he be encouraged than resulting to begging as witnessed in Nigeria? This should inspire hearing people, talk more of other Deaf fellows. #GodBlessHisHustle 1 Like |

Fact is HE. Isn't allowed to ride if deaf ... Simple . BUT... this is Africa if government cannot teach him a trade like tailoring , carpentry etc then well am inspired that a deaf man will rather risk accddents than go begging . Also the moment she boarded , he informed her he's handicapped , so she and any other passenger knows the risk. #stand up for your hustle |

GurlFriend: Many countries legally allow the deaf to drive so this hue and cry about "this kind of thing can only happen in Nigeria" is born of ignorance. |

We all take risks every day. Nigga is only trying to survive, legally. He is an encouragement to his kinds. May God continue to protect us all. |
