Perhaps they were told to mete out punishment to each other over their misconducts.

Either which, this isn't the reason why military personnel misbehave in public. Such things like this are common in military establishments across the world. Rough plays and macho display of ego is a regular sight in military cantonments everywhere. These are men who let the kids in them come out to play occasionally.

Why they mishandle members of the public is because there is no discipline in the institution anymore.
When the military tasted power, and the civilian populace cowered before them, they are yet to get over that euphoria because our impotent civilian government haven't done enough to put them in check.

A foolish person is a wicked person. Nigerian soldiers are trained to nip foolishness and wickedness at the bud. So Nigerian soldiers are not wicked but always making sure that their civilian counterparts remain civilised.

Everytime, random persons (all in the name of blogging) keep posting clips/pictures of places located "outside" Nigeria and they "claim" that these places are in Nigeria!

Even the "so called soldiers" shown in this video do not look like Nigerians!

What surprises me most is that quite often, these posts hit "frontpage" without proper "vetting"!!

OP, misleading Nigerians since 1900 BC, they are naval recruits observing putee. I tot it's d regular accusation of military men beating up civilians. If u don't know wat dey doing y don't u ask navy personnel b4 posting dis trash,learning to appreciate wat our military men doing pls.

OP, please stop misleading the public. This are not Nigerian Soldiers, they are Ghanaian Navy personnel teaching the recruit observing the putee tradition.
