It would be almost impossible to equip those Alpha jets with period relevant weapons systems without an expensive overhaul of the frame.
The engineers have done a very good job with the level of experience they have and the funds at hand, that looks like a russian derived rocket pod another air to ground long distance misile pod in blue.

However, the aircraft could not be deployed to the theatre of operation before now due to the inherent weapon delivery deficiency hence its limited use for training purposes.

Many companies have the licence to assemble alpha jets. Please stop spewing nonsense, The United states government do not manufacture a single aircraft but rather place a request for an aircraft design to satisfy a need with requirements. Companies are then allowed to put in a tender which is then selected on merit, political interests, economic advantages, bureaucracy etc

Licences to manufacture is another element of aircraft manufacture, an example would be India who assemble a high number of their SU27 and MIG 29 in India , or the JF17 which the Pakistani and Chinese both assemble separately. Thou same design, have their own independent weapons suites. The Chinese have their latest radar and wepains systems while the Pakistani have gone with the western systems

Some are in the US in private hands but these are stripped of all lethal weaponry. I doubt if the US will even grant an export permit since we are still off limits for US weapons exports.

The Alpha jet is a 1977 jet fighter. Most people do not know that the Alpha Jets were sold cheaply since they were soaking up funds simply gathering cobwebs, its a classic aircraft.

Not equipped for night flight and has minimal weaponry. We are in 2015/2016 for Godsake why would GEJ spend our money on 1977 junk which ended its cycle in 1991 and is only being used worldwide for air shows and training yet he claimed to have bought weapons?
