It’s the month of love again and while some are fostering in their relationship, some are getting out of it and some are just starting out. On the latter note, I have decided to share with you, 3 tips to note before starting a relationship.

1) You must be mentally ready and emotionally stable. If not, you have no business starting a relationship. You can decide to do something else…like learn a skill or pursue a course.

2) Go easy on the “specifics”. Just because he or she is lacking in one of your requirements doesn’t mean that you should hold back your love for them. No one is perfect. You can’t have the tall, dark, rich-royal-blood-line, handsome guy with 8 packs who treats you like a queen and sprinkles your bath with roses all at the same time!

3)Be sure that person has at least 3 core values as you. Love, they say, fades away eventually but it is your common interests that binds you in friendship and can (re-) ignite the love in your relationship again. Fall in love with someone who is your ” partner-in-crime” all day, everyday!
