santori: Fortunato's Minister of finance warned that the money should be saved for the rainy day, saint Amaechi said no, that the money must be shared, it was the bulk of his share that he used to finance the election of the holiest of the saints into office. 46 Likes 4 Shares |

santori: They used cheap blackmail to force the hand of the government. Amaechi in cahoots with other latter day saints like saint Aregbesola, saint Oshiomhole and saint Okorocha arm twisted and blackmailed the FG to share the money, they insisted that the money must be shared. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

MrPresident1:so what did federal government and PDP governors do with shared money, FGN got 52% allocation, abi Amaechi and his minority governors collected the money from them too? 3 Likes |
Re: Who's Watching CNN Now!! by MrPresident1: 5:08pm On Feb 05, 2016 |
Remii: Amaechi minority Governor? you're wrong. Saint Amaechi was the leader of a faction of the governor's forum while Jang of Plateau led the other faction, saint Amaechi was not minor. I am not holding brief for any 'saintly' or 'demonic' politician, the saints and the demons shared the money, but the latter days saints were the ones in the forefront of the agitation to share the money. 11 Likes 1 Share |

MrPresident1: And you're not ashamed to say this? Basically you're admitting we had a weak president and cabinet members. Then when they divided the money, Amaechi also came and spent the FG's share too abi? You guys have tried this before, it has been shut down. At least I'm glad you've admitted we're in this mess because the past administration didn't save for rainy days. 7 Likes 1 Share |

mrmetoo1: You should rather be ashamed of not being able to reason properly. Sharing the money is statutory, the money earned by the federation must be shared among the federating units, to save any money, you must have the backing of the governors whose peoples' money you want to save. The governors led by saint Amaechi did not want to save, they wanted the money shared! We are in this mess because the saintly governors led by saint Amaechi did not want us to save! What is so hard to understand in this 15 Likes 2 Shares |

NOI & GEJ saved for the rainy days thru ECA,, but Amaechi, oshiomole & co..insisted tht the money must be shared among state & when fg resisted them, the govs sued the fg to court... so blame Amaechi, oshiomole & co.for the woes we are facing today.... Apc is a big scam 10 Likes 2 Shares |

cr7lomo:Jonathanians always grabbing on to straws in a desperate bid to have something to say. This news surfaced as far back as January 2015 whrn you lord and saviour GEj still held sway; as at then, Nigeria's gdp growth rate had swiftly plummeted to its lowest in decades and the government of Jona even had to borrow to pay common salaries. And yes, in as much as the power to control global oil prices was/is neither in the hands of Jona nor pmb, if Jona was responsible enough to save when oil prices were over the top (like good leaders do), Nigeria wouldnt have fallen into this present recession. The last time oil prices fell this sharply was in 2008-2009 and the only reason Nigeria survived it was because Yaradua was responsible enough to have saved a whooping $20billion in reserves within 1 year (2007 to 2008) when oil prices reached an all time high. But your Oga Jona enjoyed similar high oil prices for straight 5 years but he couldnt save a dime, rather he squandered recklessly on nothing and left the national reserves far more lower than he met it. What a shame! Kindly stop making a fool of jonathan by mentioning his name in all these ignorant arguments. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
