The low cost 2bedroom bungalow is for the young men and women out there hoping to own a home and kick-start that process of starting a family. The building is suited for a 50ft x 50ft ( 15m x 15m) plot of land, with 300-500thousand naira that size of land can be acquired in the satellite towns of Abuja with access to 24/7 water supply and very good power supply( suleja, maraba, etc) and many other states in Nigeria. You have parking space for 2 cars and a small garden at the back to support the Nigerian Green innitiative which can also serve as a resting spot for you and your family. Approximate cost: 3.5-5million naira Estimated number of blocks-2500 vibrated sandcrete blocks (stone dust) @ 135 per block Approx. Estimated bags of cement - 200 @ 1480 per bag Approx. Estimated tonne of sand - 90tonne @ N30,000 per trip ( A trip is 30tonne) Approx. Estimated tonne of gravel - 30 tonne @ N60,000 per trip Approx. Estimated number of iron y12 - 80 @ 1250 each Approx. Estimated aluminium roofing sheet - 100 square meters @ 1200 per square meters This are the major materials that determine how high or low your building cost The cost estimate is based on the cost of purchasing materials and labour for suleja and its environs 18 Likes 3 Shares |

johnson232:The flat roof is one of the features conceived to cut down the cost, the flat roof reduces the cost of roofing your house by 1/3. The material proposed is alluminium roofing sheet with an avaerage cost of N1000- 1500 per square meters, the proposed house has a total roofing area of 100 square meters. Cost of construction varies from region to region, for example 30tonne gravel cost an average of 55k-69k in Suleja, Niger state to an average of 175k-200k in Anambra and other eastern state. Labour cost also varies greatly . 8 Likes 1 Share |

I am really happy with this. But honestly, the only error I could find is the nonrealistic cars and humans. The purpose of rendering I believe is to make it realistic like in a real life situation. But the cars spoilt the fun..... Overall is 8/10 from my perspective tho' nice camera angles and unique design.. love the factory Design of the house was excellent!!!!! Please post more. 3 Likes |

podosci:these designs are lovely. i have a different question though; does doing chain lintel round a building have more advantage structurally to a building than the one done on top of each window and door? someone said the chain lintel does not add anything, it is complete wastage of funds. how true is this? thanks. |
Re: 3d Views Of Buildings By The Harneyproject Team by podosci(m): 9:03pm On Feb 06, 2016 |
First of all.... The ring lintel from a structural perspective helps to spread the load over a greater span of support(Sancrete block) in some situations were columns were not use and the blocks served has load bearing walls..... This also reduces the possibilities of cracks occurring near your windows and doors as a result of too much load ( lintel self weight) over a shorter span of support( Sancrete block) Secondly...If you decide to use columns in your bungalow and you also decide to use a ring lintel, It turns the structure into a form of a frame structure reducing the pressure on your walls and turns it into a from of partition wall rather than a load bearing wall thereby reducing the possibility of serviceability cracks on your structure. Thirdly..... It gives you the freedom of manuavability during renovation works at a later date during the service life of your structure. You can put Windows and doors with greater ease and confidence during renovation works with little effect on the overall structural integrity of the building. 2 Likes |
