This is the problem with this country o! When will political affiliation give way to diligent oversight especially at this level? Unless the questions asked were clearly malicious but in as much as they are meant to ensure that this much ridiculed budget is justified and the custodians of each ministry can defend their budgets, I don't see why party membership and supremacy should come into play in exercises such as this unless of course the majority are seeking to preserve obvious areas of waste and leakage which still smacks of corruption they have supposedly come to fight.

On a serious note, why must our legislators, always play politicis with matters of national interest. Don't they understand what a budget defence mean? Definitely, Amechi is not immuned from answering question in defending his ministry's budget. So what protection are they talking about, if is not about there personal interest. SHM

AN OPEN LETTER TO GOV EL RUFA'I
Kudos to our able past govs like Makarfi, Ramadan & Yakowa & others who really tried their best to improve our schools by providing necessary materials like registers,chalks & books to ease teaching & learning. Now,time has come for the elected leaders by our own efforts to make life easier for us but the reverse is the case we are now reaping hardship instead.
How can you imagine feeding our pupils from primary 1(one) to JSS III(three),we know is a nice gesture but where the failure is putting head to discriminate between them. In a nutshell why eliminating Nursery pupils who everybody know are the beginners of our educational system. How will a layman see it talk less of the learned ones among us.
Well, to my own understanding there is a mixed-up in the feeding system of kaduna state. Our leaders should note and do the necessary correction.

What are u talking about? Is it not questions that elicited the denials by the Ministers of Health and Information? Different Senators make up different committees, is it the same people that quizzed Amaechi that handled the others?

Besides ur mindset shows ur bias because all the Ministers are Buhari appointees and therefore enemies to PDP members on principle ss u would have us believe. Yet here u are saying it is only Amaechi that has a different case...do u imagine that thus committee is made up of only PDP? Joker!

All the questions that have been raised about this caricature of a budget does it not show that attempts at fraud and embezzlement, contrary to the stand of impeccable integrity espoused by Buhari and crew, are being exposed?
