I m just curious.
I want to know why our Driver's License and International Passports have expiry dates. We have not changed facially and our details are still thesame, so why should our IDs expire in 3 or 5 years as the case may be?
This is really annoying

I think it's because the national ID identifies you as a citizen and you only lose that if you wish to or upon death. The voter card because once you are captured as a voter you remain one till death. Both are free while you pay for your drivers licence, international passport, school ID,
Also your work place I'D does not expire.
