A REMINISCE : His Memoirs

I saw her, something in me became lambent
Had I met her? wasn't it too early ...
My feelings had to be in check
I took my time apparently to see what could happen
Unable to keep them within me, as the thoughts gained
Expression and direction and made its way to my lips
I prayed and wished she could see through my chest wall
And read through the contents of my mind
Fate was in my favour, fortunately.
Its been a while now, my future seems clearer
I pray and hope she stays with me and takes this walk with me
The lady I love so much...
Someone I want to build with..
I lack the repertoire to express my love for you
Everything is finally bout you...
I look up to a day I can finally be together with you...
Forever.

IN LoVe With a Thief?


I finally tried to get some words down on paper...
Confused and nervous thoughts had filled my mind
I must be going through a lot lately
Guess I needed a break
Well that couldn't fix it...
Maybe I was sick, could medications be of solution
Nothing had changed, it was all about just one person
Was it a creditor?
more like this person took something belonging to me
Without your consent? That's stealing?
Yea a thief you might say
Then file a report, you can't go through all that
No, not yet at least.., I'm happy bout it all
I'll be glad if its treasured and cherished
How sure can you be?
There isn't a way to be, I can only hope
At the right time I would let the world know of the identity of this fellow
The one who takes away my sleep
You've been having nightmares ?
No...the reason I lay awake smiling to myself
That's crazy!
Fantastic would be better...
If only you understood, this fellow means a whole lot to me
I'd never imagined I'd be like this one day
Sounds like you're in love?
If love is waking up, with one person on your mind
If love is praying about that one person
Proudly talking bout that one person with friends
Treating that one person with value and respect
If love is when that person has a place in your future and you're willing to contribute your part in their lives
Making them happy
And bitterly sorry when you make mistakes and disappoint them
If love is...wait! I'd run out of words...
If...love is what I feel right now
For this thief you say?
No! Not a thief, when it belongs to her also
Like a co-owner ?
Like it all belongs to her now
I wish this person could understand, this is Love
And I'll do anything to keep this one person
My Love, My special one, treat her like a princess
To be a better lover, a better friend, to be a better keeper
From this special day
That's my goal!
I only pray she could be mine one day and forever.

Distance!
The amount of space between two places or things
Between two people?
No that's emotional separation...
Distance is difficult, it makes things harder
Ideas have consistently reduced the world to an immurement
To overcome the hassles of distance
But its difficult when messages can be sent over long distances and its hard to reach out to those who are close to our hearts yet so far
That moment when you miss someone so dearly...
Your every thoughts are bout them
This is because thoughts of them make you happy and soon becomes a bitter-happy experience
When you miss them
I'd love to be with a lady right now
To be so close to her, spend time with her
And let her know how dearly I love her
Ooh, how much she has become part of me and my existence
Would wish to find the key to her happiness
Would pray to be that key
The I love You's aren't always enough
The I Miss You's too

They don't compare to the physical presence
The sound of the voice through the air particles resonating within the ears
The look in the eyes when words need not be uttered
As hearts solemnly communicate
To the touch, the hugs and much more.
Ooh how much I'd long to be with you right now
Making memories for tomorrow
But this is for time being ...
We are building our strength
And writing our story.
