Thought the timeline was 2 to 3 months for carcass and 4 to 5 months for full finish. Could see that you are about roofing with 3 months already gone. Any reason for the slippage? Any lessons to learn from that experience? Are there ways that lost time can be recovered from episodes like this?

Me and my client have had to go through certain areas keenly to see how we can best adjust those areas. as a result we have had to stall atimes. So that has affected speed. 3 Months is easily feasible if we want to archive it. Just that time is secondary to this project, as outcome is definitely primary.

There is one Chinese company I'm ordering any fence barriers for construction site from, they have different kinds of noise barrier for temporary fencing systems which include 3 layer, 4 layer, non fireproof and fireproof barriers, as well as offering acoustic specialist help with architectural acoustics. They are the only factory of sound barrier for temporary fencing in China so far and.

Oga, when are we going to do away with concrete stairs? This was number one reason I gave for not building a duplex. Are there no other options available for stairs other than concrete? This is 21st century.

Once my house finishing finishes in few weeks, I intend building a duplex in Lagos and I've been thinking about this stairs thing but I rather not build at all if the only option available is this concrete stairs.

There are many wooden stairs. We also have steel/iron stairs. I am sure whatever you want can be delivered for you. Just state your specification.

What do you hate about concrete stairs? Or just because it's old fashioned? I just need to know.

I just don't like the look of it. You won't like concrete stairs if I start showing you other alternatives.

The concrete ones should have been shelved by now in Africa. Imagine a kid rolling down on concrete stairs by accident. I keep telling my kids that some horseplay they try here can't be tried in Nigeria. I remember when I was in a duplex, my 3 and 4 year old kids used to race on my stairs rolling down with their buttocks. They couldn't have tried such play on concrete stairs.

My brother, the house ain't mine, so certain decisions cannot be made by me. Trust me, I am not a fan of concrete stairs, but everything has to be based on client specs.

I have numerous stairs ideas I wish to showcase to the Nigeria. but the first step is getting a client to buy into the idea. Hopefully oneday we'll create stairs that meets the trend.

Are they cheaper and the materials readily available. I love steel/glass stairs!
