Buhari: The Nigerian Messiah by fyneboi79(m): 9:32am On Mar 11, 2016 |
How many past Nigerian presidents could have been able to manage an ailing economy as ours with the monumental corruption which has ravaged it. Price of crude is at an all time low yet the Nigerian economy continues to elude the abyss predicted by prophets of doom such as Barcanista of Nairaland and other political wannabes, who lack mere integrity to stand for truth. I constantly hear ignorant people such as Ben Murray Bruce taunt the APC led government of our Change mantra and I wonder if these sort of people have any common sense at all? Yes Ben Bruce was able to make a couple of millions in the immediate past regime from undeserved back door contracts, that doesn't give him the impetus to open his loud mouth and blab nonsense about the present regime which won't give him such frivolous contracts. The big question is; would there have been any past president with the level of corruption which pervaded our dear country still steer the economy with the paltry earnings compared to the boom era when crude was at an all time high? The answer is a big no. So why then do we bury our heads in the sand and ask for magic to be performed when we are clearly experiencing a miracle in the hands of our great dear leader President Buhari. The loot of Past administrations is yet being recovered and I wonder where people like Ben murray Bruce are when such information filters in? Alas they turn a deaf ear and continue to die in the futility of political ignorance whilst upholding a past president who almost steered this great nation to a point of nothingness. It should really be a thing of joy that democracy is the order of the day lest GEJ would have been marking the calendar dates on the wall of Kirikiri maximum facility to keep up with change of days in society. 4 Likes |

Well said. The fact remains that Nigeria has never been in such a 'perfect storm', where her treasury was looted and bled by a kleptomaniac incompetent Presidiot at the eve of record low oil prices, which resulted in the economic mess we are currently in. If not for President Buhari's reforms (such as TSA enforcement), waste minimization efforts and fight against corruption...I can only imagine in horror what our present reality would have been. President Buhari was simply a messiah sent to rescue this country, regardless of whatever anyone wails, and the above facts among others prove this to be true. 3 Likes |
