How many past Nigerian presidents could have been able to manage an ailing economy as ours with the monumental corruption which has ravaged it. Price of crude is at an all time low yet the Nigerian economy continues to elude the abyss predicted by prophets of doom such as Barcanista of Nairaland and other political wannabes, who lack mere integrity to stand for truth.
I constantly hear ignorant people such as Ben Murray Bruce taunt the APC led government of our Change mantra and I wonder if these sort of people have any common sense at all?
Yes Ben Bruce was able to make a couple of millions in the immediate past regime from undeserved back door contracts, that doesn't give him the impetus to open his loud mouth and blab nonsense about the present regime which won't give him such frivolous contracts.
The big question is; would there have been any past president with the level of corruption which pervaded our dear country still steer the economy with the paltry earnings compared to the boom era when crude was at an all time high? The answer is a big no. So why then do we bury our heads in the sand and ask for magic to be performed when we are clearly experiencing a miracle in the hands of our great dear leader President Buhari.
The loot of Past administrations is yet being recovered and I wonder where people like Ben murray Bruce are when such information filters in? Alas they turn a deaf ear and continue to die in the futility of political ignorance whilst upholding a past president who almost steered this great nation to a point of nothingness. It should really be a thing of joy that democracy is the order of the day lest GEJ would have been marking the calendar dates on the wall of Kirikiri maximum facility to keep up with change of days in society.

Well said.

The fact remains that Nigeria has never been in such a 'perfect storm', where her treasury was looted and bled by a kleptomaniac incompetent Presidiot at the eve of record low oil prices, which resulted in the economic mess we are currently in.

If not for President Buhari's reforms (such as TSA enforcement), waste minimization efforts and fight against corruption...I can only imagine in horror what our present reality would have been.

President Buhari was simply a messiah sent to rescue this country, regardless of whatever anyone wails, and the above facts among others prove this to be true.

The pseudo quack science of alchemy was wide spread during the dark ages up to the medieval era in Europe .

The quackery of alchemy as proclaimed by its scam perpetuators involved fleecing gullible kings and Princes across Europe of the ability to turn base metal to gold - for a fee of course !

As the scam proceeded the demands of the alchemist hired by the unfortunate gullible King increased and became more weird in other to forestall providing results and remain under the King's employment and annual pension.

In some instances , forgeries were presented as proof of their success to turn common metals to gold by creating alloys of gold or by coating base metals with gold. The fairy tale story of the King who was swindled by scammers who claimed to be able to weave the most beautiful garment that only those of sound intelligence and discerning mind could see it , is derived as a sarcastic mockery of the alchemist era.

It will take the renniance era to put an end to all that rubbish with the appearance of characters like Galilieo with his density measuring device to halt further fleecing of Europe's kings by alchemist scammers.

Today in Nigeria we live in an era of alchemists and fraudsters claiming to know all of Nigeria's problems and how to solve it with out doing jack sh1t .

What words do we have for the likes of the minister of health who during a senate inquiry blamed the previous administration for the Lass pandemic sweeping across Nigeria ?

Or how can we expect a glorified accountant holding the reigns of the nation's economy whose only substantive press statement as minister is to announce the discovery of federal ghost workers while neglecting to inform us on how she and her ministry hopes to revive the Economy?

There is also that brilliant liar and current dishonorable minister of misinformation and the uncultured who lacks the decorum to present a passable white lie- Alhaji liar Mohammed.

But by far the greatest alchemists among Buhari's cabinet of saints has to be the former governor of Lagos state and current super minister of Power , Works and Housing who prior to his appointment and during the last adminstration claimed that power generation, distribution and sustainability in supply "isn't rocket science". Today, the same fashola who critisized the last administration handling of the power supply in Nigeria can not even manage to maintain the record capacity feat of the Goodluck administration talk more of adding a single wattage to our grid.

It is even safe to assume that power supply and production in Nigeria under the brain surgeon fashola has deterioted so badly that his era as supervising minister can be considered the worst in the history of Nigeria .

In conclusion , I want to state specifically to the alchemist Fashola that ; power generation isn't rocket science but you make it seem as if it is like trying to teach a mouse quantum physics .

Yeye mediocre scammers.
