YOU know this generation of Nigerian musicians do not care about the lyrics of their songs, all they do is sing songs that promotes pornography.
Looking at evergreen songs of some of the world famous musicians like heal the world by Micheal Jackson, young forever by Jayz, SO by Beyonce, la isla bonita by MADONNA, ETC.
Do you think that there are musicians from NIGERIA that are capable of pulling a song that can still be remembered years to come?
Well i think there are few songs that i regard as evergreen from NIGERIAN ARTISTS, AND THEY ARE:
1. Make am by PATORANKING.
2. OJUELEGBA BY WIZKID.
3. AFRICAN QUEEN BY 2FACE.
4. OLORUMI BY TIWA SALVAGE.
5. GODWIN BY KOREDO BELLO.
WELL THIS ARE THE ONLY SONGS THAT I REGARD AS EVERGREEN. YOU CAN ADD YOURS.

all these songs you mentioned are nonsenseundecided....when i saw the title of your thread "evergreen, i rushed and opened the thread hoping to see our legendary stars of blessed memories...cc oritz wiliki, majek fashek, maxwell udoh, our own african regae queen evi edna ogholi, raski mono, onyeka owenu, christie essien igbokwe, some of them are late, to mention but a fewundecided...most of the messages these people passed acrossed as song are coming to pass in this contemporary world, then they weren't singing for money or fame, it was the inspiration behing the song and the messages they carry that catapaulted them to fame...but today what we are hearing whizkid, patoranking and co singing is rubbishundecided, you will never see their songs in my phone, mtcheeews...not even 2face or timaya,,,,2face sang some good songs when he was in plantashun boys, but until they splitted, he never sang anything meaningful again apart from african queen which he stole and went behind bars to do it as a single artist...so, i expected more from you young mansad

chai, bros, you sefgrin, that's why you should change your caption from "evergreen" to something like "contemporary songs"...evergreen to my understanding means, something that has been in existence for long, maybe it must 've been death but the memories and posterities are still fresh in peoples heart, so, you see??...for the records, these guys you mention are just youngees in the music industry, none of them dan sing song reach 30yearsundecided, so, their songs are/can never be evergreen...evergreen speaks of olden days....me i only play old school music, part of it is madonna, M.Jackson, W.Houston...infact these ones popular, if i start mentioning names of musician here ehcheesy...i bet no nairalander go know the song nor the artist...
