Any ASP or INSP in camp giv us update. pls no jst lock up for us nar. giv us update of wats goin on

they intentionally don't want to update us because after daily exercises especially around 5:30 to 6:00 pm dey normally are free and most of dem make use of dia fones.may friend two dayz ago said two AIGs were at d camp(jos) one supervising medical and d other screening of credentials.

You shouldn't say this. You're not at the camp
So you can't know how busy they are

dont put it dat way. dey could tell u dey have gone for drill, dat d food is good, dat d IG even visited dem bla bla bla but dat wont b good enuf because we both know dat we dont want such intels. wat we want to knw is wen d police will address those of us on d waiting list and frankly d guys in camp dont know a kobo abt dat. even d instructors in camp dont know a hoot about dat. it is only force headquarters and top management of the psc dat knows. so dnt paint d guys in camp black. i am also on d waiting list but dat doesnt mean we should forget dat dey cant really help us with dem juicy intels - just keep ur eyes popped n ur ears to d ground..

Guys wake up ohh. I just came across news that the chairman PSC said that all 10000 shortlisted candidates are now in training camps , am afraid he is not aware of those specialist that are hanging.

The chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC), Mr Mike Okiro, has dismissed the rumour that the recent recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force was hijacked by some high-ranking police officers. Okiro, the former Inspector- General of Police, dispelled the rumour on Thursday in Port Harcourt in an interview with newsmen. He insisted that due process was followed in the recruitment of the 10, 000 applicants approved by the presidency for recruitment into the Police Force. “I am bold to say that due process was strictly followed during the recent Police recruitment. “The successful applicants have been employed in the force. “I am happy to note that the 10,000 applicants approved for recruitment by the presidency cut across all cadres. “They have already being posted to their various stations across the country,” he said. Okiro said that the cadres included Police Constables, Inspectors, Medical Personnel, Marine Officers among others. He said that the recruitment of the new officers became necessary as a result of a shortage of personnel in the service due to death, dismissals and retirement. He warned against indiscipline in the force, saying that such matters would no longer be treated with levity. Okiro said that the PSC was open to receive complaints on any official misconduct amongst police officers. He said that the Commission would investigate the rumoured unethical involvement of some police officers during the re-run elections in Rivers and other states. He said that appropriate action would be taken against any officer found guilty of electoral fraud.

@Babagana this your information is not true. We finished the documentation and screening yesterday. And DIG came and address us and they didnt say anything about the Reserved. But he said specialist under to be interview will be call soon. Training fully will kicked up on monday. All of us have been squaded. Thats is d info for now. Thanks

Let me re-echo this with confidence, nothing like supplementary list... (1) reserves will be called (2) those for interview specialists will be called but not any time soon.. (3) if you are on reserve just keep praying and don't lose hope... These are information I could gathered from PSC as I'm among the reserves, though, it's been difficult to see the chairman for a definite date for the reserves.. The way things are panning out, I'll say let's wait till month ending.. Pls, any other useful and authentic info to support this, will really go a long way in helping others..

pls take note, not all reserves will be called upon. It solely depends on the need for a replacement in your various states. if their is no need for a replacement in the selected names from your state then you won't be called upon.

The reason for our silence is dat we dnt have any information regarding reserve and interview. The commandant of the college told us dat he has not receive any signal about those on reserve and interview and dat PSC re d only people dat has d power to decide. Regarding we in ikeja, activities everyday start from 5am to 10pm. Reporting from police college ikeja.

"soon" is the only explanation to what I don't av control over. An agreement would av been reached by Thursday last week but it wasn't possible, we hoped they would conclude this week that just ended today yet the arrangement was disturbed... now u see y I say soon... any unforseen circumstances can push it further.. I don't make decisions, it is until ogas at the top say yes.. But if am to say my mind I would say before this month ends.

Thanks for the update on the specialist for interview. Hearing the word soon is a bit refreshing and comforting than nothing before, i pray God continue to be with the guys in camp.

The news going round, is reserves will only be called if there is need for replacement which I somehow doubt will be the case,if it were to be so some reserves would have been contacted but anyway, I hope people will keep faith because only two entities knows our fate. One is God and the other is psc chairman.. Specialists for interview, your own case is settled.. You will be called but not any time soon as I said earlier..

I think i trust Armpit more than any other person..within the limited scope of speculation and skepticism.. He is factual... With references that could be called sources...
But nxt week will prove him more worthy of believe...Armpit all this back and front speculations wouldnt have risen if the process was well scheduled right from beginning... What do u think caused the disconnect.
