From where did the idea to abolish slavery come from, since it was not present in the bible? The entirety of the bible's commentaries on the issue of slavery are only ones of promotion, yet somehow, somewhere along the line, man found out that slavery was one of the most horrid crimes that ever existed. Very Correct!!!! 100% correct.. Atheism is not a philosophy or a belief system, you cannot do good or bad in the name of atheism.. No atheism is just a tag of unbelief in deities.

Their morality is driven by their humanity, society, community, choice, compassion, love..

Our humanity and society is the guide to human ethical positions.

One thing you lot need to understand, Morality is neither a buddhist, hindu, Christian or islam idea, morality is a child of human society and belongs to no ism.

it is not dependent on any book, creed or supernatural for foundation because morality itself is founded on human societal interaction..

So next time do not bring the atheists lack moral mumbo jumbo, Every human has every basis to be moral as a member of a human society not defined by their belief or unbelief.

Morality is independent of belief but rather is about actions towards one another..

Atheism (lack of belief on supernatural entities) does not in itself produce morality, and neither does theism (belief in supernatural entities). The problem is when theists like yourself insist that believing in a supernatural entity (specifically Yahweh) is indeed required for people to uphold a healthy standard of morality. My citing of those secular countries who are achieving that very goal WITHOUT YAHWEH proves that is a very incorrect assertion. And the fact that slavery was abolished INDEPENDENTLY of any instruction from Yahweh proves the same.

I don't believe the bold, I don't think you need belief in God to have morality. In fact my comment said no moral foundation, not no morality. You know that subjective morality.
