trust me ma'am your insinuation that Iheanacho is somehow as good or better than Sanchez portrayed you as one humongously daft person. Anyone with a little knowledge of the game of football will agree with me. I was just being kind when I excused that on your emotions and hormones.

I'm kind like that wink
you've been noticed. Kindly crawl back into the hole you escaped from, your fellow neanderthals must be missing you

I could have used worse terms to describe you, but I save my best for people who are worth it

You agree Iheanacho is a teen sensation but you want to prove to me that the teenager who replaced one of the greatest players in the history of Barcelona when he injured, Guardiola is not a Teenage Sensation.
Anybody can replace anybody in a game. Montoya replaced Dani Alves as a substitute many times at Barcelona, what has Montoya made of his career so far?

Xavi did not replace Guardiola just in the field. He grew from there and replaced Guardiola in the legendary role.

La Liga breakthrough player of the year in 1999.

We can do it. There are a lot of times some players of the squad are sure will not play. Just one place from one of the qualifiers squad. Capping is done in competitive game.

That's true man, just hope it would happen for good.

Hey the birthday man (SirIcons4), how about this for an advice? U can help us relay this to the powers that.

Alexis has played as a CF in barca a couple of times and also plays as a striker for chile.
Lucas Perez scored 17 and assisted 10 in a relegation threatened Deportivo side. Iheanacho might end up surpassing both (most likely will), but at this moment, he isn't better than Giroud and Perez. Come on!

Are you talking of the strikers that a player who is not the natural striker is benching?

You missed her point. She compared Sanchez at 19 years to Iheanacho today. I say Iheanacho is the better player based on that comparison. I watched Sanchez, Aguero, Coentrao, Pato, Willian, Renato Augusto, Freddy Adu, Pique (WTF), Sunny Stephen, Bruno Gama etc at WYC 2007. Iheanacho is better than Sanchez at 19.
If you base your arguments on how good players were at 19, using it as a yard stick on how good they will become reeks of amateur analysis at best. Iheanacho has not made waves the way Baloteli did when compared at same age, but Baloteli nearly found himself in China this season.
Am sure you were one of those who thought Baloteli was better than Baggio at 19.

What weak arguments? You're comparing an established international with an academy big who just broke through his team last year. If you re-read your comments, you will be ashamed of what you have been typing since last night

Iheanacho today is better than the Sanchez at 19. I watched Sanchez even at River Plate. Not Google or YouTube. Watched the 2007 well. From Pele who played for Inter Milan, to I think Pererinha, Vela, Dos Santos, I think Vidal was there too. Argentina removed Chile. Chile removed Nigeria. Ezekiel Bala played for us.

So what concerns Balotelli?

Hey Mister.... Show some respect okay. It's not gentleman-like at all picking on the lady.

If you followed the whole discussion from the beginning you will get the "gist". Maybe you should go back a couple of pages and pick up the "root opinions" that gave branches to the rest.

It's not cool just jumping in because of your "club loyalty" or something or just because you just got to say something.... Before you type, "understand". smiley

Try understanding before sparking on the thread. Sanchez did not play one hundred games for Chile at 19. LOL.

Sustained impressive performance meant that he became a key member of Louis van Gaal's title-winning team. Xavi finished his debut season with 26 matches played and winning the Spanish League.

He also was named 1999 La Liga Breakthrough Player of the Year. Xavi became Barcelona's principal playmaker after an injury to Pep Guardiola in the 1999–2000 season.

From Meridian Cup final Spain lost to Nigeria, to winning the WYC in Nigeria. To becoming a young key player at Barcelona and winning the La Liga. To Sidney 2000 Olympics finals they lost to Cameroon.

A young Xavi was always there.

That was SENSATIONAL.
