Didn't Russia agree to American intervening which may or not have to led to their recent success... Please read the Russia-America Intervention in Syria in 2016. Though it may be seen as victory for Russia considering the terms, but if Russia was winning all the way, why would they agree anyway? Please speak on what you know.
