This is a question i've been longing to ask.

So for those of you who believe in God, go to Church or Mosque and still have premarital sex, do you feel guilty of sin afterwards? Do you think you've offended God? Do you think God is angry with you? Do you feel confident to pray to him afterwards even when you have no problem repeating it? Do you think after praying to him, he will answer your prayers?

Please take note that i'm not trying to judge anyone. I am only trying to know the attitude of people of faith to the issue if sex and sexuality in today's world.

A lady has once said on this forum that she is born-again and co-habiting. I wanted to ask her these questions but i saw the thread was an old one. I cannot even remember the title of that thread anymore in order to revisit it.

Please, mature discussion. This thread is not for those who would want to come and judge anyone. It is ok to disagree, it is ok to state you disapproval; but don't come here judging anyone or insulting anyone. PLS!

Well, I guess a lot of ppol don't feel guilty tho...even they knew that it's a sin according to their holy book, still they doing it...why? Coz it's a human nature,it's part of us that we feel urge to do it...

Not that they don't feel guilty.
It is because their conscience has been silenced as a result of repeating the same sin over and over again.
It apparently becomes part of you.

Another thing:

this thread is not about if sex before marriage is sin or not; because i know some people will come and say "it doesn't matter if you FEEL it or not that you've offended God after doing it. What matters is that the Bible and Quran says its is a sin". This thread is also not about justifying and glorifying sex before marriage. IT IS ABOUT KNOWING THE ATTITUDE OF PEOPLE OF FAITH TO THE ISSUES OF SEX AND SEXUALITY IN OUR MODERN WORLD.

i understand it if we cannot talk about this is real life Nigerian society; but at least, on a virtual Nigerian society, we can discuss taboo issues like this and be honest about it.

Yea, I sure feel loads of guilt and feel a disconnect from the father, but thank God he's a loving God, he forgives .
It's better to stay away that face d guilt and feeling of loneliness

No matter your religion (Christian or Muslim), if you have Conscience and you do something that is not pleasing according to God's word or your religion, you will definately feel guilty within youself knowing that you did what was (sexualy or whatsoever) wrong irrespective of the magnitude of what you did.
It first begins with the Word of God condeming it, secondly, your Conscience.
