I'm surprised that most Nigerians are not ashamed of how their Daura cattle rearing President came on national tv to basterdise the constitution and the rule of law with those utterances. This president who openly endorsed dictatorship and his lack of respect for democracy is who will lead you all to the promised land? I laugh in Igbo. Buhari should have stayed in Daura, tending his cattle and chewing gworo instead of coming to the national stage to showcase his idiocy.

As for Kanu, the man is going through his own process of incarceration which all great freedom fighters such as Nelson Mandela, Che Gavuerra, Martin Luther King and Xanana Gusmao who led his people of East Timor to seceed from Indonasia all went through. Freedom does not come cheap. I hail Kanu for his tenacity. Should he be killed, no doubt it will bring violence and bloodshed but it will strenghten the resolve of those who want be free of the British contraption called Nigeria that they are right to leave. This is what I don't understand with regards to Kanu's imprisonment, if Buhari is openly showing a lack of respect to the judiciary system, something that is an integral part of democracy then how can one claim that Buhari is a legitimate leader of a democratic country? A machine is only as good as the sum of its parts just like a democratic society is only as good as its executive, judiciary and legislature. If they aren't working in tandem with each other then that leads to the destruction of that democracy. Imo, there are two options one has to describe Nigeria now; it's either a democracy with an illegitimate leader or an autocracy with a legitimate leader.
