The power problem in Nigeria is babaric!

There are about 170 million people in Nigeria. And at an average of 5 people per home, there are about 34 million homes in Nigeria.

1 Mega Watt of electricity can power 800 homes. Nigeria can only produce 5,000MW of electricity. What this means technically is that the power generated in the Nigeria can only power 4 million homes out of 34 million homes. So where will the other 30 million get their power from? Generators? As in 30 million generators? Jeez! shocked

Wow! Who can save us from this mess? shocked

Am beginning to believe the "Donald-Trump-rumour"... I think Nigeria shd be colonized again...smiley

Why dont we just outsource our power problems to China? It might cause us $40 billion debt, but it will bring development and we can pay it off in 20 to 30 yrs time.
