You are the one who has been deceived by anti-islam bigots in the western media.

Funny enough, the truth is that the western media is very lenient with islamists and cover up for islam in their annoying bid to be politically correct. If the western media were to lay the facts bare on the table and expose all the evil verses in the quoran and hadiths that inspire terrorists, the whole world would have been up in arms against you islamist and islam would have been on it's way to annihilation by now.

So you believe in Tafsir by Ibn Kathir there but you don't believe it here:

Tafsir by Ibn Kathir on Surah 19:71:
Surah 19:71: “Not one of you but will pass through it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.”
Imam Ahmad narrated that Sulaiman Ibn Harb narrated that Khalid Ibn Sulaiman narrated that Kathir Ibn Ziad Al- Barsani narrated that Abu Sumaya said, "We differed about the meaning of ‘Passing through it’ (wari-duha). For some of us said that no believer will enter hell and others said all (people) shall enter it and then Allah will save those who have done righteousness. Then I met Jabir Ibn Abdallah and I informed him that we differed about the meaning of, ‘Pass through it,’ and he replied that, “Everyone shall enter it.” (Tafsir by Ibn Kathir on Surah 19:71, Translated from Arabic)

Another Tafsir by Ibn Kathir on Surah 19:71:
Narrated by Abdel Razak, narrated by Ibn Ayena narrated by Amru who told us that he heard Ibn Abbas feud with Nafi Ibn Al-Azraq regarding the meaning of, ‘Entering (Al-wurood).’ He said it meant ‘Entering (Hell),’ but Nafi disagreed. Thus Ibn Abbas read (Surah 21:98) “‘Verily ye, and the gods that ye worship besides Allah, are but fuel for Hell! To it will ye surely will enter (Wardan),’ and asked did they enter or not? He also read (Surah 11:98) ‘He will go before his people on the Day of Judgment, and lead them (Awrada-hum) into the fire: but woeful indeed will be the place (Wird) to which they are led (Al-mawrud)!’ Did they enter or not?As for you and I, we will enter it but let us see if we will exit from it and I don’t see Allah taking you out of it because you lie (regarding its meaning).” Nafi then laughed.

Narrated by Ibn Jarir, narrated by Atta who stated that Abu Rashid Al-Harury, who is called Nafi Ibn Al-Azraq, said, "They (the believers) will not hear hell’s roar." So Ibn Abbas responded, "Woe to you! Are you insane? What of Allah’s verse (Surah 11:98) ‘He will go before his people on the Day of Judgment, and lead them (Awrada-hum) into the fire,’ and also the verse (Surah 19:86) ‘And We shall drive the sinners to hell being lead (Wirdan)’? And also the verse (Surah 19:71) ‘Not one of you but will pass (Waridu-ha) through it’? By Allah, the supplication of those who lived previously used to be, ‘O Allah take me out of hell fire peacefully and allow me to enter paradise victorious.’" (Tafsir by Ibn Kathir on Surah 19:71, Translated from Arabic) Source: Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Saudi Arabia.

Again, it was Meccan pagans that muslims claim persecuted Muhammad, not the Jews and Christians. Then, why was Muhammad persecuting the Jews and killing them?

You islamists on nairaland have been trying hard to deny that Muhammad didn't kill the Jews but ordered them to pay tax. It shows you know it is immoral to kill them, more so as they were not the ones who persecuted him.

Ishaq 464
The Jews were made to come down, and Allah’s Messenger imprisoned them. Then the Prophet went out into the marketplace of Medina, and he had trenches dug in it. He sent for the Jewish men and had them beheaded in those trenches. They were brought out to him in batches. They numbered 800 to 900 boys and men.

There are two differences of opinion with respect to (Quran 19:71).

The first opinion is that both muslims and non-muslims will be thrown in hellfire. The righteous muslims will be saved leaving the polytheists and wrongdoers in hell.

The second opinion is that the righteous and those deserving punishment will cross over a bridge. Only those deserving punishment will fall off the bridge into hellfire.

There are two differences of opinion with respect to (Quran 19:71).

Meaning muslims are not certain of what will happen to them after death.

The first opinion is that both muslims and non-muslims will enter hell. The righteous muslims will be saved leaving the polytheists and wrongdoers in hell.

So the muslims are sure of entering into hell before they are removed. This is exactly what Qur'an 3:185 says. Why should you enter hell first before you will be removed? What qualifies you to enter hell first will make you remain there forever. Besides, how many years can you afford to be inside hell? Put one of your fingers on candle fire for just a minute and see how you will feel, talkless of your whole body inside exceptionality hot fire like hell. Allah doesn't mean well for you

The second opinion is that the righteous and those deserving punishment will cross over a bridge. Only those deserving punishment will fall off the bridge into hellfire.

Cross a bridge from where to where?

The pagans and the jews made a pact to exterminate the muslims in medinah.

Prove.

He never called for the execution of jews.

Even when you saw the hadith that says Muhammad killed the Jews enmass?

There is no consensus between muslim scholars concerning this.

truthman2012:
This is exactly what Qur'an 3:185 says. Why should you enter hell first before you will be removed?

Because they neglected the rights of their Creator.

Narrated by Mu'adh bin Jabal: The Prophet said, "O Mu'adh! Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "Not to punish them (if they do so)."

truthman2012:
What qualifies you to enter hell first will make you remain there forever. Besides, how many years can you afford to be inside hell?

The disbelieving christians, jews and pagans will dwell in hell forever. Muslims with faith even if it weighed the same weight as the smallest ant will only dwell in hell temporarily.

"The disbelievers among the People of the Book (christians and jews) and the pagans will dwell forever in hell; they are the worst of all creatures."

Culled from a lenghty hadith, "....Allah will say, ' Go and take out (of Hell) anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of one (gold) Dinar.' Allah will forbid the Fire to burn the faces of those sinners. They will go to them and find some of them in Hell (Fire) up to their feet, and some up to the middle of their legs. So they will take out those whom they will recognize and then they will return, and Allah will say (to them), 'Go and take out (of Hell) anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of one half Dinar.' They will take out whomever they will recognize and return, and then Allah will say, 'Go and take out (of Hell) anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of an atom (or a smallest ant), and so they will take out all those whom they will recognize."

I can't say but its description is given in the hadith.

Such a thorny seed is found in Najd and is called As -Sa 'dan. Some of the believers will cross the bridge as quickly as the wink of an eye, some others as quick as lightning, a strong wind , fast horses or she-camels. So some will be safe without any harm; some will be safe after receiving some scratches, and some will fall down into Hell. The last person will cross by being dragged over the bridge. "

Since you choose to go to hell, so be it but I pity you.

How can you claim not to see the evidence of Muhammad killing the Jews, which I stated above?

Here it is again:

Even the pagans who muslims claim persecuted Muhammad were not killed as many. You didn't substantiate your claim that the Jews also persecuted Muhammad with evidence.

The prophet didn't sentence the jewish captives to death. The jewish captives chose one of their own, Sa'd bin Muadh, to decide their fate.

Sa'd bin Muadh condemned the jewish soldiers to death and he ordered the muslims to take women and children as captives.

Narrated by Abu Said: The people of (the tribe of) Quraiza agreed upon to accept the verdict of Sa'd bin Muadh. The Prophet sent for him (Sa'd bin Muadh) and he came. The Prophet said (to those people), "Get up for your chief or the best among you!" Sa'd sat beside the Prophet and the Prophet said (to him), "These people have agreed to accept your verdict." There are authentic Hadiths that clearly show that
Wurud is referring to the passing over the path, which is erected over the Hellfire – may Allaah Almighty protect us from it. People will go across it, and their speed will be according to their deeds, a fact that we learn from Hadiths

Where and when was the attempt made?

(1) In madinah after the battle of badr

With the intention of killing him, the jews convoked a meeting with the prophet under the false pretence of seeking islamic knowledge.

Banu al-Nadeer sent for him to come out to them with thirty of his companions, and said “We will send out thirty of our rabbis, to meet in such and such a place, halfway between us and you, so that they can listen to you. If they believe in you then we will all believe in you. ”Then they said : “How can we reach an understanding when there are sixty of us? Send out three of your companions and we will send out three of our scholars to listen to you. They were carrying concealed daggers and they wanted to kill the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). A sincere woman from among Banu al -Nadeer sent word to her nephew (her brother’s son) who was a Muslim man from among the Ansaar, and told him about that , and he told the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went back, and the following day he brought his troops and besieged them, and the Jews of Banu al- Nadeer were expelled.
(Sunan Abu Dawood 3004)

(2) In madinah after the conquest of khaybar
A jewish woman served him a poisoned mutton.

Narrated by Anas: A jewish woman came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with some poisoned mutton. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ate from it,then the leg of mutton spoke and informed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that it was poisoned, so he stopped eating it.Then he asked her about that. She said, “I wanted to kill you.” He said, “Allah would not let you do that.” They said, “Shall we kill her?” He said, “No.” He said, I can still see the effect of that on the palate of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
(Al-Bukhaari, 2617 and Muslim, 2190)

(3) When he went to Banu al-Nadr
One of the failed assasination attempt that led to their expulsion.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to Banu al-Nadeer to ask them for help in paying the diyah of two men of ahl al-dhimmah who had been killed by mistake by ‘Amr ibn Umayyah al Dumari. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat by a wall belonging to Banu al-Nadeer, and they plotted to throw a rock on him and kill him. The Revelation informed him of that and he rushed back to Madinah, then he issued orders that they should be besieged.
(Ibn Ishaq)

(4) In makkah when he was a child
They even attempted to kill him as a child.

Ibn sa'd narrated: when the mother of the Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him to the Sa’di woman who breastfed him, she (prophet's mother) said to her (the wet nurse), “Keep him safe,” and she (prophet's mother) told her (the wet nurse) what she had seen. Halimah al -Sadiyyah (the wet nurse) passed by some Jews and said, “Will you not tell me about this son of mine? I conceived him in such and such a manner, and I gave birth to him in such and such a manner, and I saw such and such,” and she (the wet nurse) repeated what his mother had told her. They said to one another, “Kill him!” They asked her (the wet nurse), “Is he an orphan?” She said, “ No, this is his father and I am his mother.” They said, “ If he had been an orphan we would have killed him.” Halimah (the wet nurse) took him and said, “I nearly lost that which had been entrusted to me.”

First of all, we both quoted from the same source, from Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasulallah [i.e. biography of Allah's messenger (Peace be upon him) by Ibn ishaq].
Secondly, the jews chose sa'd bin muadh as their arbiter and they agreed to accept his judgement. Below is an extract from Sirat Rasulullah by Ibn Ishaq:

When the apostle of Allah had completed the Ditch, the Quraysh came and encamped at the confluence of the Ruma torrents. Their army consisted of 10,000 men, including their allies and followers; the Ghatafan, with their followers from Najd, also came and encamped in the direction of Uhud; and AND NEWS CAME THAT THE JEWISH TRIBE OF BANU QURAYZA HAD BROKEN THEIR TREATY WITH MUHAMMAD. So the apostle of Allah marched out with his Muslims, amounting to 3,000 men in all, and encamped so that Sal was behind him and the Ditch in front, separating him from the enemy. He had ordered thechildren and the women to be shut up in the forts.

Safiya, the daughter of Abdul-Muttalib, was at the fort of Hassan, who had remainedto guard the women and children. She told how ‘A Jew approached and began to walk round the fort. Now, the BANU QURAYZA JEWS HAD BROKEN THEIR TREATY WITH THE APOSTLE OF ALLAH, AND THEIR FORT WAS TO THE REAR OF OURS. THERE WAS NO ONE TO PROTECT OUR SIDE OF THE CITY, AND THE APOSTLE OF ALLAH WAS OCCUPIED WITH THE INVADERS AND UNABLE TO COME TO OUR AID.

In the morning the Qurayza came down from their fort to surrender to the apostle of Allah, and the Aus begged that – as the apostle had dealt leniently with allies of the Khazraj – he would do the same for the allies of the Aus. The apostle said, ‘WOULD YOU LIKE ONE OF YOUR OWN PEOPLE TO DECIDE THEIR FATE’ AND THEY WELCOMED IT. He continued, ‘Then let Sad b. Muadh decide.’

Sad had been struck by an arrow in the defence of the Ditch, so his people mounted him on a donkey – with a leather pillow under him, for he was a stout and handsome man – and brought him to the apostle. THEY TOLD HIM, ‘DEAL KINDLY WITH THY ALLIES, BECAUSE THE APOSTLE OF ALLAH HAS APPOINTED THEE FOR THIS PURPOSE.’ But they entreated him too much and he said, ‘Sad will take good care not to incur the censure of Allah by fearing the censure of men.’ Then some of his people went away and lamented for the men of the Banu Qurayza, before Sad even reached them, because Sad had spoken thus.

When Sad appeared the apostle said to the Muslims, ‘Arise in honour of your chief!” Then Sad asked, ‘Do you covenant with Allah to abide by my decision?’ and they said, ‘We do!’ The apostle of Allah also replied, ‘Yes.’ And Sad pronounced the following sentence, ‘I DECREE THAT THE MEN BE KILLED, THE PROPERTY BE DIVIDED, AND THE WOMEN WITH THEIR CHILDREN BE MADE CAPTIVES. The apostle of Allah said, ‘Thou hast decided according to the will of Allah, above the seven firmaments.’

Which is more authentic, hadiths or quran ?

Quran 3:185] Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.

"Whoso is removed from the FIRE" means all muslims will be inside hellfire first before some will be removed. But the truth is what qualifies you to enter hellfire first will make you to remain there forever.

My opinion is in agreement with these:

Then I met Jabir Ibn Abdallah and I informed him that we differed about the meaning of, ‘Pass through it,’ and he replied that, “Everyone shall enter it.”Tafsir by Ibn Kathir on Surah 19:71, Translated from Arabic)

He also read (Surah 11:98) ‘He will go before his people on the Day of Judgment, and lead them (Awrada-hum) into the fire: but woeful indeed will be the place (Wird) to which they are led (Al-mawrud)!’ Did they enter or not? As for you and I, we will enter it but let us see if we will exit from it and I don’t see Allah taking you out of it because you lie (regarding its meaning).” Nafi then laughed.

By Allah, the supplication of those who lived previously used to be, ‘O Allah take me out of hell fire peacefully and allow me to enter paradise victorious.’" (Tafsir by Ibn Kathir on Surah 19:71, Translated from Arabic) Source: Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Saudi Arabia.

now for your info...wariduha means over it. that's all.. twist all you can, this is my last response insha Allah

Everyone will be brought to Hell, then the Righteous will be saved

Ibn Jarir reported from `Abdullah that he said concerning Allah's statement,

(There is not one of you but will pass over it.) "The bridge over Hell is like the sharp edge of a sword. The first group to cross it will pass like a flash of lightning. The second group will pass like the wind. The third group will pass like the fastest horse. The fourth group will pass like the fastest cow. Then, the rest will pass while the angels will be saying, `O Allah save them, save them.' '' This narration has supporting narrations similar to it from the Prophet in the Two Sahihs and other collections as well. These narrations have been related by Anas, Abu Sa`id, Abu Hurayrah, Jabir and other Companions, may Allah be pleased with them all. Ahmad also recorded that Umm Mubashshar, the wife of Zayd bin Harithah, said, "The Messenger of Allah was in the house of Hafsah when he said,

(No one who was present at the battles of Badr and Hudaybiyyah (of the Muslims) will enter into the Hellfire.) Then, Hafsah said, "Doesn't Allah say,

(There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell)wink The Messenger of Allah replied by reciting,

(Then We shall save those who had Taqwa.) In the Two Sahihs there is a Hadith reported from Az-Zuhri, from Sa`id from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah said,

(No one of the Muslims who has had three children, who all died, will be touched by the Hellfire, except for an oath that must be fulfilled.) `Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam commented on Allah's statement,

(There is not one of you but will pass over itwink "The passing of the Muslims (over the Hellfire) means their passing over a bridge that is over it. But the passing of the idolators over the Hellfire refers to their admission to the Fire.'' As-Suddi reported from Murrah, from Ibn Mas`ud, that he said concerning Allah's statement,

(this is with your Lord; a Hatman decree.) "An oath that must be fulfilled.'' Mujahid said, "Hatman means preordainment.'' Ibn Jurayj said the same. Concerning Allah's statement,

(Then We shall save those who had Taqwa. ) When all of the creatures passed over the Hellfire, and those disbelievers and the disobedient people who are destined to fall into it because of their disobedience, Allah will save the believers and the righteous people from it because of their deeds. Therefore, their passing over the bridge and their speed will be based upon their deeds that they did in this life. Then, the believers who performed major sins will be allowed intercession. The angels, the Prophets and the believers will all intercede. Thus, a large number of the sinners will be allowed to come out of Hell. The fire will have devoured much of their bodies, except the places of prostration on their faces. Their removal from the Hellfire will be due to the faith in their hearts. The first to come out will be he who has the weight of a Dinar of faith in his heart. Then, whoever has the next least amount after him. Then, whoever is next to that after him, and so forth. This will continue until the one who has the tiniest hint of faith in his heart, equal to the weight of an atom. Then, Allah will take out of the Fire whoever said "La ilaha illallah,'' even one day of his entire life, even if he never performed any good deed. After this, no one will remain in the Hellfire, except those it is obligatory upon to remain in the Hellfire forever. This has been reported in many authentic Hadiths from the Messenger of Allah . This is why Allah says,

(Then We shall save those who had Taqwa. And We shall leave the wrongdoers in it, Jithyya.)

You guys have quoted Ibn Kathir's Tafsir extensively on this thread to support your argument but refused to believe the same man because the truth he told about muslims going to hell didn't go down well with you. Why must you be deceiving yourselves?

You don't even believe Quran 3:85 that says all muslims will go to hell at death and some to be removed on the Day of Resurrection. So you only believe what your brain tells you and not what your god told you. Smh !!!

Typical muslims' reasoning.

Does where I got my information matter ?

What is important is the truth of the information. We got to know so much about islam on the internet and discovered the religion is false.
