This is why I just laugh at PDP supporters when they "taunt" APC for losing elections in supposed strongholds. They fail to see that the president has adopted a posture of non-interference, which of course angers most party faithfuls as it gives the opposition room for a foothold in areas in which they could easily be outmanoeuvred, albeit illegally.

The president is indeed a true democrat silently enriching our electoral process and democracy.

If you are talking of non-interference, you'd be right if you mentiomed GEJ as was evident in most of the elections conducted under him. The problem with Nigerians or do I say wailers is their consistent refusal to think outside the box. Most of the elections which were declared inconclusive due to violence and politicians trying to subvert the process WERE EVENTUALLY WON BY THE PDP. This shows that INEC was sincere in declaring the elections inconclusive. Ballot box stuffing and violence didn't start in buhari's regime. It was always there in the 16 years of pdp. From iwu to Jega. What the pdp used to do then was use the places where elections couldn't be conducted due to Ballot box snatching, Ballot box stuffing and violence as an alibi to allocate votes to themselves and declare themselves winners. It is difficult to understand how Nigerian elections always had full results announced even in clear cases of Ballot box snatching, violence and intimidations. In the days of pdp even when they snatched Ballot boxes, PDP still announced results! From where now? It is better to declare an election inconclusive than to allocate votes arbitrarily to the ruling party, something pdp did for 16 years.

If you really think buhari has been 'raping' the process and then you still have pdp winning many elections especially in places like benue, fct, taraba,, then you are very naive of the powers that the president can wield.
