When I was little (15 years or thereabout), my dad will
always buy animals from hunters, ranging from dear to
antelope etc. That explains why I like meat today but frown
at drinks and few of my friends will make jest of me for not
drinking like them. So one day he bought the unthinkable: it
was an animal from a hunter at Odekpe and I was told that
this particular animal is called an "idiot". What a name for
this poor creature, I said to myself in disbelief.
I told my dad that I have never seen such an animal before
and I wouldn't like anyone to kill this idiot; he asked why? I
told him about animals going extinct as I was thought in
primary science and then argued that since I have never
seen an idiot before, it means that this animal is going
extinct and should be taken to a zoo.
I was having this conversation with him when the idiot break
loose from the carton where it was kept and all that
gathered to have a glimpse of this weird creature went amok
in a bid to catch it but they end up killing the idiot. The rest
was history in a pot of soup as I became more curious to
check the true meaning of the word, idiot, in the dictionary.
My findings wasn't funny at all, I knew at that moment that
some humans are more idiotic in nature than the innocent
creature they label idiot. That is by the way...
In Odenaigbo radio station, they do newspaper reviews
every morning and people do call to air their views after the
newspaper headlines has been read for all who care to
listen. As we all know, the hikes in the pump prizes of petrol
that means a more feast of worms for men at the helm but
at the detriment of the decaying carcasses of the
downtrodden took the center stage.
People from all works of life were calling to state their
excruciating pains about the petrol prizes that towers
Americas twin towers plus the Ivory tower put together,
before this man called. He was furious that Nigerians has
failed to understand that barrels of crude oil has fallen
down and should take easy with the president. He in fact
blamed the whole scarcity of petrol and hikes on the fall of
crude oil prizes.
At that moment, I asked myself the same question I will like
you all to help me answer: what is the correlation between
the fall in crude oil prizes and the hikes in our petrol? Follow
up question_ What is the relationship between the fall in
crude oil prizes with the scarcity of petrol in an oil producing
country like Nigeria?
This man, whoever he was and his likes in this social, are
special kind of idiots that deserves to be in a zoo just like
many other idiots in this country who prefer to reason
through the anus. SMH - However, God is in control. Calm
down Nigerians, we gonna survive this. One House!

I came across that animal for the first time three months ago I wish you could put the picture here,till date I am still wondering why it is called idiot perhaps due to its funny look.

Like you rightly said there are humans that are more idiotic than that animal.
