All the Wailers chest-beating amounted to zero as Nigerians in FCT reaffirmed their support for PMB. the result of the chairmanship elections indicates that APC won Abaji,Kwali, Kuje, Bwari and the biggest prize of all, AMAC. APGA clings to a remarkable victory in Gwagwalada.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) have emerged winners of last Wednesday’s rerun elections in four Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The rerun elections which were held in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Kuje, Abaji and Gwagwalada saw APC clinching five of the six area council elections, while APGA won in Gwagwalada.

INEC had declared the elections inconclusive as a result of violence, over voting and non-use of Smart Card Readers or accreditation of voters, and ordered a rerun in 39 polling units in 20 Registration Areas.‎

But in the result released on Thursday, INEC declared the APC candidate, Ibrahim Adamu Candido winner of AMAC with 27, 482 votes.

Also in Kuje Area Council, Abdullahi Galadima of APC won with 15, 175 votes while Joseph Shazih of APC won in Kwali Area Council with 15, 309 votes.

The party’s candidates also won in Bwari and Abaji Area Councils.

However, APGA’s candidate, Adamu Mustapha was declared chairman-elect of Gwagwalada Area council with 15, 950 votes. The candidate of APC, Abubakar Jubril got 14569 votes.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which won five Area Councils in 2013, could not win any chairmanship position this year.

Senate Minority Whip, Senator Philip Aduda, who is representing FCT in the Senate on the platform of PDP, alleged sabotage against the party.

“We know that there are lots of sabotages that are being put in place so that there are delay so that where we have strongholds we might not have the opportunity and all that,” he said.

Everybody in Nigeria is already feeling the chainge.
The only difference is that ABJ grassroot just decided to tie the chainge tighter. They want more pain except for those that voted for APGA

I'm quite surprised. I thought the results would swing to PDP's favour cos FCT voted PDP during the general elections.
This is just a clear indication that the real people of Nigeria are still very very very much in line with Buhari and we the considerate and enlightened Nigerians understand that Buhari is fighting a war right now and we stand solidly behind him even more than ever.

Kudos people!

on why Nigerians are in pain today, see the CONFESSIONAL STATEMENT of your Hero's CoordinatingMinister for the economy. According to Iweala, we are in pain today because GEJ administration lacked the political will to save for the raining day.

Although that is half truth. the truth is: the goats ate our yams.period. If you wail henceforth, it is because you have been denied access to our yams!

I forsee a landslide in 2019 if PMB recontests,if at these challenging times for the govt, the APC can still produce these kinds of results:
close in gubernatorial in Bayelsa, closer re-run in a HOR re-run in Akwa Ibom and significant inroads in a formerly 100% PDP state of Rivers and now this sweeping of the polls in Abuja.
With the expected improvement in the economy before 2019 as the govt comes to grips with it,these are the stark realities of the massive defeat that awaits PDP,if it survives till 2019:
-The Northeast with the peace secured and massive return of its people with their massive voter turnouts will give him 90%
-The northwest with Kano has always singlehandedly dealth a massive blow to any other number produced elsewhere.Another 70-80% with large numbers
-North central despite the Fulani madness in Benue will give him 55%
-Once the economy improves and life gets better, the Swest will say a big thank u for his giant strides in corruption and d economy.Expect a more significant margin than in 2015,of say 60-70%
-Low turnout in the seast because their won't be any "our son" presented by any major party at the presidential/Vp level.Apc may lose but get 25% or more in Imo, Ebonyi and Abia.
-Significant in roads in the SS :Bayelsa,Akwa Ibom and Delta wud be close due to fairer elections and decampments,Edo wud be won by d APC and rivers wud be close too with massive reduction in the inflated votes produced since 1999.
So 4 regions to be won with massive margins in 2,1 region (SS) wud be very close and d seast wud be lost but with 25% in at least 3.
It's best that all well meaning and not so well meaning nigerians support the govt of PMB because childish and meaningless opposition of a man that wud rule one till 2023,is an invitation to heart attacks.
