Hurray As Federal Government Extends The Validity Period Of The Driver's Licence by naijacarlovers: 10:44am On Apr 26, 2016
Last week Saturday, the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Mr. Boboye Oyeyemi, MFR, mni, NPoM, met with the transport editors of Nigerian Newpapers at the State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ojodu Berger, Lagos.

Among the many issues discussed, one stands to gladden the hearts of millions of Nigerians who have been yearning for a driver's licence that does not have to be renewed every short three years.

He revealed that arising from the 134th Joint Tax Board (JTB) meeting which held at the Tahir Hotel, Kano, on the 11th and 12th of April, 2016, it had been decided that the Nigerian Driver's Licence which hitherto had a validity period of three years will now have an optional five years validity period. But this 5 years option will come at a slightly higher fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only.

This is in addition to many other giant strides achieved and some other great jobs being worked on by the Corps which i will publish in subsequent posts.

Good job FRSC.
