I swear to Obatala, with the Russian S-400 Triumf ; there's nothing like stealth. Remember how Amerika said her useless Northrop Grumman B2-Spirit stealth bomber was invisible to all enemy radars until the Serbs shot it down with a 30year-old Russian S-125 SAM over the Yugoslavian sky in 1999? The B2-Spirit (Spirit of Missouri) with serial number: “AV-8 88 0329” crashed in Bosnia, 15km from the Serbian boarder. And guess what? They used Airforce transport planes to transfer the wreckage to Germany NATO base - and then argued that the incident never occurred. Well, let's just say by the time these F-22 raptors get blinded by krasukha-4 & then shot down into the Black sea by the Russian S-400Triumf; I would be quick to remind everyone how Amerika's dangerous provocation at the backyard of the peace-loving Russia triggered ww3. Picture 1: The grossly overrated Amerikan B2-Spirit. Picture 2: The wicked 30-Year old Russian S-125 SAM that disgraced the Amerikan B2-Spirit over the Yugoslavian sky in 1999. Picture 3: The Almighty Russian S-400Triumf that will - Insha Allah - shoot down the Amerikan F-22 raptors into the Black sea before nextweek 11 Likes 2 Shares

Zoharariel: Russian S-400Trium is too powerful for the junk. The second photo you shared I think is upgraded to BUK.. Buk missiles is enough to shoot it down. Just 2 F-22, to back their puppets there to go on offensive. Is the same U.S not doing the same provocation in South Korea against North ? Jack of all trades, master of non and this is what is killing the empire of lies and deceit. A dieing empire. Surely romanians are ready to die but trust the old Europe, they have learned the hard way. 7 Likes 3 Shares

American built F-117 night walk and told us that even the devil cannot shoot it down, that it is so stealthy to the point of invisibility even to the human eyes. There was nothing that was not said of the plane's stealthiness and sophistication... Only for it to be shot down by a 1967 catapult. Shame! 5 Likes 2 Shares |

NairaMinted: Below is an interview with Colonel Zoltan Dani - Commander of the 3rd battalion of the 250th Missile Brigade that shot down the Amerikan overrated stealth fighter & bomber - F-117 & B2-Spirit. Although this video below is poorly translated but this guy made some cogent points and unfortunately, he was unable to back it up with evidence. 1.) He said it was forbidden for political leadership to talk about hit & destroyed planes. 2.) Conversation between the Pilot and the Airborne Warning & Control System (AWACS) was recorded before the crash. 3.) In the first Almanac in 2000, spirit of missouri was omitted from the list of available B2-Spirits. Ofcourse, Northrop Grumman has since replaced the lost B2-spirit with another one 4.) The crash site was completely cordoned off for several months by NATO until all material evidence were removed. 5.) Few years after the conflict NATO's high military delegation with Leaton Smith came with 2 very thick questionnaires. One was about the F-117 and the other was about the B2-Spirit. If a B2-Spirit wasn't shot down, Y would NATO be asking about it? He said they came looking for where & how they made errors so that they could fix them. I did not make this video but I'd rather believe the account of this Serbian Colonel than listen to the Amerikan usual sugar-coated lies & propaganda. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Qi1z4vh79A 3 Likes 1 Share |

Zoharariel:S400 operates within the EM spectrum. The F35 will suppress the S400 before the EA-18 growler comes in to the the last job. Russia her self has the capability to jam s400 with her krasukha 4 EW system. The s400 has never seen battle and the only advantage it has is Range. Remove the range and it's missile mach. The missile defence is then just a normal radar with a conventional missile. The F22 is a stealthy airraft and will only be detected by radars operating between the UHF-VHF bands. scully95:You saw where ICBM is being shot down?? Man common who shot it down? Most ICBM are never tested in civilian areas. I know the principles of ICBM it's what i studied not what i learnt online. Yea even Nigeria rolland is capable of shooting down a F22 however, F22 will always know when a missile is launched at it with it's RWR. F22 will never fly into an enemy airspace without SEAD being done by AWACS or the GROWLER. I was a missile guidance engineering student before moving to ECM and i will tell you even with S400 range , S400 is just a normal missile defense system and its strong power also stay with it's AESA and FHSS to avoid its frequency being jammed. The S400 itself will never see the F22 except with the use of NEBO-SVU or other radars operating withing UHF-VHF. I know more than Internet shiit about radars. Its obvious your facts are internet related. 2 Likes |

scully95:Firstly, what you typed is so unorganized. Secondly Nothing special with ICBM being intercepted. thrirdly this is what i do and what i live for Radar systems and ECM and i do not go online to watch videos before knowing the capability of radar system. @zoharariel I won't argue with you and you can go on and watch your videos on missiles. China operates S400 and i was taught based on s400. China detected F22 flying near South Korea. That was only possible with uhf-vhf radars, you guys lack typical knowledge. I do not like getting into issues based on military on nairaland because of the way Nigerians reason. They go online, watch youtube videos and start forming boss, when they have never seen nor touched a military radar or even know it's working principle. That is why i prefer my usual websites like quora, aviation stackexchange. Keep your knowledge to yourself please. I study with Russians and they can't even tell me half of the internet shiit you guys are saying. The S400 can only detect the f22 within range less than 80km. Learn the principle of electromagnetism and radar before quoting me next. UHF-VHF will only detect the F22 early, as the serve as early warning. Remember the S400 can only launch at the range of 400KM. Growler will perform SEAD through stand off jamming degrading the NEBO-SVU most especially by wide band as the radar makes use of FHSS and beam agility. 1 Like |

scully95:WRITTEN BY A RUSSIAN MILITARY VETERAN. Under normal circumstances, the radar cross-sections of the F-22 and the much larger B-2 are below that of a bird (F-35 does not have all-around stealth, only frontal stealth). At the altitudes where F-22 and B-2 fly, visual detection from the ground is not possible. Those planes increase their radar cross-section for brief periods of time when releasing their weapons, but that's too short to track or guide missiles. Besides, air-defense radars remain off most of the time (otherwise, their lifespan would be unenviable) whereas passive systems are inaccurate and way too easy to jam (say, just when the F-22 releases weapons). Another rarely-talked-about trick is for an intruding stealth plane to drop a small box with a radio-transparent parachute a few mins before weapons release, and right before the weapons release trigger a burst of finely milled foil from the box, causing a bright flash on radar screens, drawing attention away and making any coincident blip look like a transient echo. There is some mythology about S-400's ability to track US stealth planes using low frequency radio waves. I haven't seen convincing technical details, but note that S-400 is based on trailers or mobile chassis, which limits the size, emit/receive frequency, and the energy of the radar (you would do better with a soccer-field size radar near a power station, or a much larger array like the one built by the USSR near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant - but such a stationary array is easier to target and sabotage). Low-frequency radars offer very low resolution and can’t guide missiles. So, you’d need a serious networked air-defense network to track overflying planes and have a shot at B-2 before it zooms out of range (Russia only has such networks on some parts of its vast territory, and certainly not in Syria). But let’s assume for a second that a Russian S-400 system managed to detect a US B-2 and locked a radar on it. This will be immediately detected by the B-2 and probably by the NATO E-3 or AWACS plane on duty. In response, the S-400 and the radar location will be targeted by any number of US assets nearby that carry cruise missiles, HARMs or JDAMs - submarines and surface navy, the B-2 itself, and any F-16s on patrol at the time (I can venture a guess that there will be a pair of B-2s, and they will be accompanied by two to four F-22s at a certain distance, with F-22s being invisible to other planes). This fact will be communicated to the Russians, possibly directly to the S-400 personnel. Let’s walk through the decision-making process for the Russians as to whether to launch the missiles or not. Before attempting to shoot down a B-2, one needs to evaluate their goals, the chances of success, the resources required to raise those chances above zero, the cost, as well as the consequences in cases of success and failure. Shooting down a large US plane might bring harsh response and loss of valuable property. So, whoever goes for that, better have a good purpose. Just sticking it to the US isn’t a good purpose, as you can expect to be stuck from many sides in return, again and again (even if you miss). So, let’s assume there’s some credible operational justification, such as saving a Russian batallion from certain death, or making a present to Putin on his birthday. Here’s the fun part. Whatever the US is trying to accomplish with the B-2, it is probably trying to accomplish in others ways too (submarine-launched cruise missiles, low-flying helicopters, another wing of B-2s, etc, etc). To get close to a high-speed, high-altitude target such as B-2 before it goes out of range, a surface-to-air missile needs to pick up altitude very quickly (while the target is cruising horizontally), which takes significant energy, which takes significant fuel, which makes the missile heavier, which requires more energy and fuel, but also limits the missile’s range and constrains maneuvers, which in turn limits possible launch locations relative to the plane. Most importantly, a missile accelerating to several Mach from ground level (through relatively dense air) will be surrounded by hot plasma and can be easily detected by radar and thermal imaging. So, the B-2 will have at least 10-20s of lead time (likely more), can track the incoming missile and deploy countermeasures. Whatever missile targets B-2 needs to be guided by some signal - most likely radar (until it is very close), which can be jammed. The closer to the B-2, the easier it is for the B-2 to jam the signal. The missile's own thermal imaging will become increasingly inaccurate as it heats up. A B-2 carries loads and loads of flair and chaff to blind incoming missiles. There are also decoys. So, a single missile at a time would be pretty hopeless, and two might still be too little. For a missile flying at Mach whatever, it’s difficult to maneuver and there is very little time to decide which of the targets are decoys. Launching more missiles at once requires multiple launchers (it’s unclear how many Russia has in Syria), and is very expensive. So, the costs are high, the risks are high (and bad PR for S-400 may undermine future sales), the chances to hit a B-2 are questionable, and even if a B-2 is hit by an S-400 missile, Russia may lose the entire S-400 encampment as well as some choice outpost - that might be awkward (for example, if the Tartus wharf goes, the entire Russian story for Naval presence in the Mediterranean pops). The chances for embarrassment are significant. In other words, even if S-400 can technically track and hit a B-2, launching missiles would be irrational under most circumstances. Would the S-400 be used to shoot down US aircraft in let's say...Syria? Not if the Russian unit operating the system wanted to remain alive, they wouldn't. Why? The US operates at least one AWACS ( airborne early warning and control) E-3 aircraft in and around Syrian airspace. The E-3 acts as an airborne command center and it can direct US/NATO/coalition aircraft to ground targets throughout the region. If the Russians decide to engage aircraft with missiles, the AWACS will know about it and defensive measures will be taken. For the Russian crew manning a S-400 unit, they will be very lucky if US naval units don't target their position with cruise missiles or that US air forces don't launch standoff weapons at them if they engage or even hit US/NATO aircraft. The S-400 is not a rapid deployment weapon meaning that "shoot and scoots" are not possible. The unit will be near where it launched after its does and that will prove fatal for the crew involved. 1 Like |
