Two persons were confirmed dead in a fire outbreak at A. A Rano filling station along Bompai road, Kano State on Wednesday, May 4. The incident occurred after fire erupted from a fuel tanker and spread to some nearby buildings, razing properties worth millions of naira.

"The tanker was offloading fuel when the hose got disconnected and fuel spilled on the ground. The next thing we saw was fire and explosion which made us to run for safety," an eyewitness Yahaya Mohammed, told Daily Trust.

Confirming the incident, the Head of Crisis Management of the Nigerian Security and Civil Corps, Kano Command, Alhaji Abdullahi Salisu, said that when they got a distress call, they immediately mobilized their men to the scene.

Human loss, Property loss, environmental loss, many many losses in a period of chains of losses.
But wait is it that there are no laid down safety principles that must be adhered in the course of loading, discharge and handling of petroleum products and tankers or is it that the players do y adhere to the rules. RIP to the dead sha

Could it be those that have always made lives difficult for teeming Nigerians by hoarding and selling PMS above the regulated price?

Karma may be a bad guy.
