It displays the normal Home Screen.
And that's all? After displaying home screen do you mean it just goes blank?

It does not go blank...The screen and the fingerprint sensor do not respond to touch...Do you know a Technician I can visit..Tired of looking at it all day..It's been a week now..Not sure if I will be a MiUi fan ever again..

Borrow USB type c and try to see if you can navigate through the phone na. Explore all available options before going to a technician

The battery ish is a general thing. And your next update might not solve it. I'm already on 8.0.5.0 and still not much change in terms of battery.

I am telling you! cheesy

I project the phone to cost between N180,000 to N230,000. Is Xiaomi gradually moving away from mid-range phones?

This phone is said to look "suspiciously similar to Samsung's ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 while presumably posing less of a fire risk."

This is serious, I believe the water got into the phone, there has been outrage regarding the build of the mi5. Now getting someone to fix it may be a gamble.

Is there a way that I can set my RN3 not to receive calls for some hours or days but only to use data on the phone?

doesn't it have the DND features

There is a "Do not disturb" feature in the settings but what I want is not just a silencs of the notifications but a barring of all calls for sometime while I use the internet data on the phone.

Is there anything like that on RN3? Or does this DND bar all calls?

Have not tried that but you can block some numbers from calling.

Okay! Just tried it now, yes you can. You can block either some calls or all calls frm coming in. Go through the dialer and right click, you'll see block list there.
