What is it about Nigeria and bad news?

We inherited it but i don't know from who.
One thing with Nigeria is when ever bad thing start to happen we will not tackle it until it spread all over the country.
Kidnapping has come to stay for a long time before anybody will even think of it.
Our leaders are busy now plotting for second term hence they have no chance to deal with national issue of such magnitude.
Its a shame.
