Let’s Pray For Nigeria by Firefire(m): 1:17pm On May 30, 2016
Nigeria is passing through many challenges that threatened her existence as a nation.

The economy is shrinking, poverty increase in the land, the politicians who looted us dry have enough stored for their generation yet unborn.

Our leaders seems clueless about the way forward, many promises broken, we now see brother turning against brother, parent against their children and children against parents.

Enough killing, missing persons, and bloodletting in the land.

Nigeria, a land known for flowing with milk and honey, now flowing with blood and tears. cry

The below was a an extract from 2012 publication of pray for Nigeria.
Very much relevant for today situation.

A stormy year lies ahead.
So much sufferings and many deaths.
So much bloodshed. A nation stands at the edge of a cliff,
about to be dashed to the rocks and splintered into multiple fragments.

A stormy year is ahead.
Many rise out of frustration;
great upset in many high places.
Many who are secure in their positions will lose them.
Many mighty ones shall fall, never to rise again.

Let the leaders be afraid.
Do not feel safe, because you are not.
You are completely exposed to the wrath of the Almighty.
Your chariots and horses will not protect you from His judgments.

Many whose wealth was ill-gotten will be buried in the storm.
Their shelters and strongholds will be shattered,
and those that depend upon them scattered.
The storm gathers, and there is the noise of conflict.
Swords clash in battle, and blood flow.

Do not try to hide, for you will be exposed.
Do not attempt to run, for you will be caught.
The Almighty has set a trap for the wicked.
They shall not escape.

Let the Ministers of the Lord tremble.
Those that have misled the people.
Let them fear,
those that have set other gods before His chosen ones.
Let them fall on their faces and weep in shame and disgrace.

Let those who fear the Lord, turn to Him in repentance and intercession.
Let them awake and lose the shackles of the spider’s web.
Let them give up their entanglements and comfort zones.
For it is time to seek the Lord.

Time to shun the evil wishes upon Nigeria not minding constructive criticism.
/

I kindly ask you to say or write a word prayer for the nation, Nigeria. You may never be able to fathom how far a word of prayer would go to help reset the spiritual configuration of this nation.

Who knows, the Lord will hear and read our prayers, and have mercy.

Nigeria belong to us, it's time to pray for Nigeria.

Wetin do Nigeria?

Nigeria as a Country is doing okay,it is the Corrupt Politicians whose source of livelihood has been blocked that we should continue to pray for.

And of course their supporters, who have been running around the Internet, crying that they are seeing a Wolf instead of a Sheep.

Nigeria is on point.

Buhari is on point.

APC on point.

Op, you're right! Nigeria needs prayer, a lot of it. However, not only prayers, but actions too.

Prayers without actions is mere exercise.

Let's all as individuals carry out our civic responsibilities accordingly.

Let's all be loyal and patriotic to our dear country.

Let our leaders know themselves as leaders and carry out the duties they're elected into office for accordingly.

Let's all stop corrupt practices.

Let's all know our rights and claim them.

We have the right as citizens to ask our leaders question as to their stewardship.
Let love, agape love reign among us, seeing ourselves as an entity and acting accordingly.
Let's put aside prejudice and sentiments.

Prayers alone is not enough, we need actions too.

It is well with Nigeria and Nigerians.

My sister, there is no time people don't pray. We also prayed during Jonathan regime. Let's not put sentiment into everything. However, things were not this hard when Jonathan was in power and don't forget that, naturally, we human tends to pray more when facing difficulties or a sort of hardship.

God bless Nigeria.

May the Almighty visit his wrath upon this country... let fire and hails of brimstone descend on it as if a heavy rainfall... may the traitors we have as leaders live to see the deeds of their treachery visited upon them and their households... anyone who quotes me otherwise, may the curse of jabez be your inheritance....
